Maybelline New York Moisture Extreme Lipcolor Reviews

Mmm
First off this to me smells a lot like watermelon at first, I don't know why, but I love it. This lip color does on smooth and bold, it packs on a great shade and is easy to apply. It does come off a little at first but the color lasts for a while which is good enough for me! It's easy to take off but won't leave your lips looking dry, it actually does moisturize quite well and it's smooth and comfortable. The lipstick isn't too expensive either and is really a great product. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

nice
bright and sheer, the colors i have in this lipstick are vibrant, while still letting my own lip color show thru. they are shiny, and smell great, and feel really good on. they are fair priced and easy to find, but they wear off instantly and get on everything and everyone you touch your mouth to. the red tube is a femme bonus. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great buy for the price
I'm very particular about the fragrance of products that go on my lips, especially being an Asian. I love this delicious, but not sweet, watermelon fragrance. Sugared plum is the best shade because it's a nudy pink color that is so anti-aging. It's not perly but not matte since it shines and moisturizes just perfectly. It doesn't wear all day, but who cares, when you can look forward to reapply with that delicious scent? Thank goodness for the affordable price! — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Rubs off very quickly
This is definitely moisturizing, but it fades very quickly. The positive: It is competitively priced, glides on smooth, has some lovely colors, feels like lip balm. The negative: It rubbed off almost completely whenever I ate or drank anything. Now I don't expect my lipstick to stay on when I eat and drink but this looked really bad. It rubbed off in places so my lips looked really funny. It also rubbed off pretty quickly without my eating or drinking. I'll be spending the extra cash to buy a higher quality moisture lipstick. — 3 years, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not for me
While I liked other Maybelline lipsticks, this one is not to my liking. The formula is way too creamy that it easily slips off and feels greasy on my lips. Yes, the color selection is great, but the formula is not. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great Buy - Smooth and Silky
The store had this BOGO and I remembered that I had used it long ago, so I tried it again. I am glad I did, because it's terrific. It goes on smooth, lasts for hours, and is not too glossy, just enough. Of course, you can always add gloss. The colors are very true to the little papers on the bottom of the tube, and there is enough variety to please just about everyone, no matter what your skin tone. It does taste great, fruitybut not too too much. Absolutely no reason, in my opinion, to spend money on the Dept store brands, with this readily available. The high-end brands are mostly priced for the packaging anyway. This nice, smooth lipstick comes in a pretty red tubeand is priced low enough to buy more than one at a time. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Nice
It feels good when I use it. Its moisture like a lip balm. I bought a dark color, Chocolate delight. Since the color is strong, I use it just a little, and it gives matte color to my lips. It fades too quick (maybe because I use it just a little). And one more, it has affordable price. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good lipstick
Great colour pay-off, has a satin-y finish. You will need to apply lip gloss if you want a more glossy finish. Good staying power.. The first tube I bought smelled sweet, but for some reason, the second one smelled like crayons. Overall a great lipstick for its price. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

PRETTY GOOD BUY
This lipstick has kind of a silky feel and it is fairly moisturizing, though I wouldn't rely on it exclusively to keep my lips in good condition because it seems to wear off pretty quickly. It's decently pigmented-- I only need 2 coats for optimal color. It's also fairly matte so there's no shimmer or anything like that. The smell is pretty strong, though. I happen to like it (kind of a fresh fruity smell) but people who are sensitive to fragrances might want to avoid this product. The packaging looks nice enough but I've had the lid come off in my bag a couple of times. The color I bought was "Windsor Rose"; it's just a good basic rose pink that would probably been flattering on just about any pale to medium skin tone. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

A High-Quality Low-Priced Lip Color Line
I love red lipstick, but it has to have a yellow base. Reds with a blue base look violet on me, which I don't like. My current favorite red is Maybelline's "Dessert Sunset" (F205). It's a red with a yellow base that is neither too deep, too bright, nor brown-looking. It feels nice, too. My only problem is that I think maybe "Dessert Sunset" has been discontinued because lately I haven't been able to find it anywhere. It is so much nicer on me than other lipsticks costing three times as much. With any luck, Maybelline will bring it back with a new name and maybe new packaging. As long as it's the same product, I'll be happy. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
