Alberto VO5 Moisturizing Hot Oil Reviews

Not helpful
LittleBunny (393 reviews)I usually love hair oils-- I love them so much and they give me great moisture. However, this one seemed to be of very low quality and left my hair feeling greasy and limp, but not moisturized. The texture of the oil feels very cheap. I would not use again. — 8 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

MissPurple (581 reviews)I use this every time I shampoo, but I also use a deep conditioner after I shampoo. — 11 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

I've been using this for years! Great for what you pay for it!
ladyboarder9669 (186 reviews)This is great for dry/damaged hair. I use this pretty regularly and it really seems to help moisturize and repair my dry, brittle hair. Its super easy to use, takes only a minute and is super cheap! This product is well worth what you pay! — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

My old essential routine
luckybetty (880 reviews)I used the hot oil treatment when it was first introduced in the 90's. Although it was messy, I liked it back then because my hair needed (still needs) more than a regular conditioner. Today there are several intensive treatments and hair repair masks that give my hair the similar or even better results. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Runny but helpful
sweettpea29 (205 reviews)This little vial is very useful. I like to use hair oils and after rinse them with shampoo mixed with a tiny bit of baking soda. This ensures that my hair has a nice amount of body to it. This oil leaves my hair feeling silky and makes me feel a lot better when I use my heating tools, like I'm not killing my hair. Also the only downside to this product is that you have to heat it up for it to work. — 6 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Hot oil treatment
GeekyChic (217 reviews)I used to use this all the time when I was younger, but after trying other hot oil treatments, I found that this one wasn't the best. This product tends to weigh my hair down more than other hot oil treatments. — 4 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

MUST HAVE FOR DRY/DAMAGED/OVER-PROCESSED HAIR!!!
lisa2683 (77 reviews)Ok Ladies! If you have hair like I mentioned above, ahem, like mine as well, then YOU MUST try this!!! It really is a little miracle worker!! I put it on in the shower and while I'm waiting for it to do its thing, I wash up or shave. As soon as I start to rinse it out I already feel a difference in my hair quality. And sure enough, once I'm done in the shower and either air-dry or blow-dry/straighten my hair, I see just how gorgeous my hair can be! The shine is out-of-this-world and it's soooo soft!!! I have ZERO frizz and ZERO flyaways!! Since you don't have to do it that often, to me it mostly depends on just how fried your hair is, you can either use it once a week or even every other week. If you have naturally awesome hair and just use it as a little oomph then you can probably only use it once a month. It's an amazing product for the price you pay, which is usually around $5 at any drug store. Definitely recommend this to everyone!! — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Still a Standard
OhMandy (199 reviews)No-its not the best stuff in the world but it still works well and for the price who can argue that? I have been using this product off and on for years and still keep going back to it-it definetely helps badly damaged hair. A little messy but the smell it okay and its pretty fast and easy to use-plus with the cost you can use it more often. A staple in my collection of hair conditioners. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
