Did Nothing For Me
I did not like the smell of the RareMinerals Skin Revival Treatment to start with. I used this as instructed and it did nothing for me. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Meh...
I didn't really get what this product was supposed to do. I didn't notice a difference in my skin that I couldn't get from other products. So the answer is it works, but I get the same results from using a good moisturizer. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

To work or not? That is the ???
I want to start out at the beginning admitting that I LOVE Bare Escentuals products. I use their cleansers, tanner, foundation, mascara, etc., etc., etc. But I am with most of the crowd on Rare Minerals. I don’t know if it works or doesn’t work! I guess that means I need to give it a score of five. First of all, I have dry and sensitive skin but it has been clear and decent looking for most of my life. A few years ago, I decided to splurge and see an aesthetician, after which I ended up with red sploches like a clown all over my face. She told me that I had the MOST sensitive skin she had ever seen (good way to end that confrontation) and sent me off to look for jojoba oil to both cleanse and moisturize until hopefully I would go back to normal. It worked! Now, years later, I am still using that jojoba oil along with mostly Bare Minerals products. Long story still long ;) I never bought the Rare Minerals as a separate product, it came in some kits I bought from, you know who, one of those TV marketing sites. I’ll just come straight out and admit, I would never pay the regular price on most of these products. If I didn’t get them at a much lower price that is available in the kits, I wouldn’t be buying them. Anyway, I never liked the container applicator and after trying to make it work a few times, I took that apart and started applying the minerals with one of my many brushes (that came in one of those kits!) I usually used the product on my weekly cleanse, masque, moisturize, etc. that I half the time forget to do. I found that it worked out best to apply this to my clean skin and then moisturize after Rare Minerals. Sorry that I can’t honestly answer the question of, “Does it work or not?” — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Very disappointed... made my skin break out!
I have been a Bare Escentuals fan for years. I use many of the products so when I first heard about this product, I wanted to try it. I went to a BE store and talked with one of the reps. She said that it had drastically improved her skin. I tried it for a week and my skin broke out. Stopped using it and my skin cleared up. Tried it again about a month later and the same thing happened. I never thought I would throw away a BE product but this was the first. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Did nothing for my skin
I had mild acne a couple years ago and I used this product daily. I did nothing for my face except add color like a foundation. The sponge application is not sanitary when you use it over and over. I would not buy this product again. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not a miracle product, but nice
I purchased the 30-day sample size in light, and used it religiously for one month. I really didn't notice much difference in my skin, but it was kind of nice to cover some of the "flaws" in the evening before bed. I was also impressed that this product did not rub off onto my pillow, which is one concern I had prior to purchase. In order to purchase this again at the $60 price tag, I would have needed to see more dramatic improvement in my skin, but otherwise it's a fun product. — 5 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Would not BE without it
When I first heard about a night time treatment powder I was not interested. How odd I thought it would be applying makeup at bedtime. I got some in a kit, tried it and was amazed. My skin literally transformed. Pores gone. My 47 year old skin is always getting compliments. No powder goes on my pillows. It just absorbs into skin! I love this stuff. I think it's my favorite BE product thus far! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Nice product, packaging stinks...
I have always wanted to venture into the BE line but I have such sensitive, blemish-prone skin I was just afraid to (after having bad experience with other mineral make-ups). I'm glad I did. I'm at the age where I use anti-aging products preventatively so I wasn't expecting to see a drastic improvement in anything really. Well, I won't say it's a miracle product, but in conjunction with my other skin care, I have found I really like this. It doesn't settle in the very few "lines" I have, though I know others have said that was a problem for them. I have slightly uneven skin tone and over time I feel like this has helped a bit. It gives me a nice glow when I put it on before bed, and sometimes (since I don't wear other make-up) I'll dust this over my face to just even me out a little. The packaging, however, leaves much to be desired. For my first one, I ended up ripping off the foam and just tapping some into the lid and using a brush to put it on...much more sanitary and isn't wasting product getting trapped in the sponge. The newer packaging has the same foam and sponge with the open/close, but now with a screw-off lid that makes that so much easier. I just ordered a third so we'll see how they've changed it now...hopefully for the better again! — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Helps with pores size, absorbs oil, plus a little coverage at nite that's good for yor skin. A little pricey but a little goes along way!! — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

BE Fan
I started using Bare Escentuals Basic makeup about 2 years ago and loved it from the start. I have very oily/acne prone skin and for years could not find anything to cover and treat. One day, I saw this on QVC and decided to give it a try. I was a little discouraged on the price ($60) but decided to splurge. I did and now I can't live without it. My faced is glowing again! I love it and now, I would never use anything else. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
