I recently purchased a tube of Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! natural mascara. I've used this one and I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't like using mascara because of itching and burning or clumping and smudging. I wear contact lenses and usually don't wear much mascara because some of them tend to make my eyes water and some make my lenses cloudy. I didn't have that issue with this mascara. It lasted all day and didn't smudge under my eyes like some others have in the past. This mascara also does not have a strong odor like some I have used in the past. I like that this is natural and that it actually works. It makes your lashes look longer and stays put until you take it off. This mascara is listed as "The Best of 2010" on the Tarte website. Tarte claims this mascara is clinically proven to increase lash volume by 424%. My lashes do appear longer when I wear this mascara. I will wear and purchase this mascara again in the future. This mascara has such cute packaging, so I got it. The brush is a nice, classic bristle brush, which is pretty big. The formula is really thick, I would suggest having another disposable brush on hand to comb through lashes. The wand gets caked up kind of fast, and I feel like the formula is on the dry side, which I don't like. I feel like all it really does is lengthen the lashes. It's a good mascara for that. If you pair it up with something volumizing your good to go! But for the price, it isn't worth buying it alone. This mascara doesn't clump, lengthens, separates, and darkened my lashes but didn't give me much volume. It is a "wet formula" that can undo a curled lash. It didn't flake all day, and didn't smudge either. Overall, it is a high quality mascara. — 2 years, 5 months ago

I got a sample of this mascara recently (and the coordinating primer) and I have to say I'm not impressed! A lot of what the reviewers are saying is true--it doesn't clump and I didn't notice any flaking or smudging. But it also didn't give my lashes any extra length or volume. — 2 months, 2 weeks ago

Spider lashes

I've read so many reviews that rave exuberantly about this mascara that I was anxious to purchase it and try it out myself. I was looking for length and volume and, I hoped, the ability to hold a curl after I curled my lashes. I must be the exception, because I found this mascara disappointing. It's a great, dark black color that provides lots of drama, but on me this mascara created "spider lashes" when I applied more than one coat. Very fake-looking and provided no fullness. Dramatic Clump Free Lashes
