I started this moisturizer a couple days ago and was shocked. It took away my redness from Rosacea and the break-outs from sensitivity. I'm quite amazed at how well it really worked. Other products have either been terrible or have been okay but never helpful. The reason for my amazement is that it actually did what was advertised but also with a light fragrance. It is not fragrance-free. How is it possible? This is the only reason I give it a nine instead of a ten. I think a product for sensitive skin should be fragrance free. I love this lotion for my face, which gets especially dry and sometimes red during the winter. I tried this back when I had minor acne. It was a little irritating on my sensitive spots. I also think the SPF is really low so don't use it as a major sunscreen. I've been using this for about three weeks now, and I'm really liking it. I have sensitive combination skin, prone to breakouts, and it's hard to find a product that doesn't exacerbate at least one of those issues. This lotion got rid of the irritation the onset of winter has been causing me, thoroughly moisturizing dry spots without feeling greasy everywhere else. I haven't had any more acne issues than usual, either. This is absolutely my new go-to product post cleansing. My skin is very dry/combo, and tends to break out often. I have tried several sunscreens/daily facial moisturizers that offered sunprotection, and many other benefits. However, none have lived up to their descriptions. This is different! I bought it for around $15 at Wal-Mart, which isn't too bad considering it does have sunscreen. I purchased it along with the Ultra Calming cleanser (which is great!) and won't be using anything else for a long time! This moistuzier provides excellent, long lasting, moisturization. It also really does help with redness! I've noticed a huge improvment in the redness of my skin since I've started using this! It has a nice, fresh smell, that I don't mind. And the fact that it provides SPF 15, something that all dernatologists reccomend to wear on a daily basis, only makes it better. It goes on flalwlessly under makeup, not leaving your skin an oily mess, unless you put on too much. I would highly reccomend this! This moisturizer does a nice job of moisturizing the majority of my face (the dryer areas like the sides of my nose don't quite get enough) and I like that it makes my skin feel soft and velvety to the touch; not at all greasy or slick. It has helped with some sensitive skin issues I've been having though I haven't seen a reduction in the minor redness on my cheeks and it has been over a week. I used to use Bare Escentuals moisturizer, until they changed the formula, and of course I'm allergic to the new stuff. I spent several weeks trying to find something, drugstore or high-end, that would agree with my sensitive skin the way my old favorite did. This was it! It makes my skin so soft and pretty and I don't have to worry about breakouts or irritation with this Aveeno moisturizer. My skin isn't excessively oily at the end of the day, which is also a big plus for me.
