Rimmel London Exaggerate Automatic Lip Liner
These are great drugstore lip-liners, but they come with such little product for their price. I have two: 'Natural' and 'Eastend Snob'. The formula is smooth and they don't drag on my lips as you apply them. It feels creamy, but drying if you wear them with nothing else on top. The consistency is very soft its so prone to breaking when you apply it (which is why you don't need to press very hard when using them). Very pigmented and has decent wear. I like the packaging too - the tip is slanted so it makes for easier application and having a twist applicator makes it easy for lazy people like me who hate sharpening pencils! 'Natural' is a brown-toned pink that's perfect for nude lip colours and 'Eastend Snob' is a dusty pink shade that would be great for everyday wear. Overall, I would consider repurchasing, but wished they had a larger shade selection. Love this lipliner! I have finally found what I had been looking for in a nude shade that lasts. East End Snob & Natural are the ones I use. Disappointed that they have redesigned it . Now it's on a slant and breaks off so easy when applying! What a waste since I find that these lipliners don't last long to begin with. But, I can't find these 2 great liners anywhere and until I do, I'll stick to these ones. I have this liner in 024 Red Diva, and while it is the best liner I've ever used, I do find that sometimes it's so creamy that it cakes along the outer rim of the lips. That can be a bit aggravating because the color is so stark that smearing it during clean up can stain your skin. Another thing that I noticed is that these liners don't have a tendency to last too awfully long, especially for the price. I believe at Walmart they retail at almost 6 dollars which I'd say is reasonable for their creaminess and high pigmentation, but it's probably the creaminess that contributes to the fast life of this product. They don't skip, drag, or otherwise cause any trouble. It's also nice to have an "automatic" pencil like this as you don't have to worry about having a sharpener to fit it and can always retract the pencil should you get a little more liner than you'd like. This also keeps the liner from being too much of a mess since that liners you sharpen tend to crumble off. You could get away with wearing one of these with just some gloss as an all-over lip color. They're perfectly pigmented on their own. I'd probably purchase this one again, but the caking is kind of aggravating when you're working with a red so bright. This is the best lipliner ever!! I have it in Eastend Snob and Addiction. Love the shades and the formulation. The packaging is amazing too! The end is nice and tapered like the packaging and it applies super easily. The formula is thick and creamy but feels light on the lips. Staying power is really good. The color is well represented in the packaging and the look of the liner. I use these as an all-over lipcolor and it doesn't show dryness like most lipliners do. If you apply a gloss/lipbalm over these to add some shine/glossiness I would recommend letting them "dry/set" for a few minutes beforehand. I think this helps the color not come off when applying another product over top of the liner. An outstanding lip liner
I purchased this by mistake (I usually get 1000 Kisses), and I'm glad I did. This liner in Ravish is the only liner I've tried that actually keeps my matte red lipstick from getting fuzzy in the corners. 30 - Natural
I bought this lipliner thinking it was another lipliner and I'm so happy for my mistake! I use 30 - Natural almost everyday under Mac's Young Thing Lipglass and not only does it compliment the Lipglass color, it helps to extend the wear on my lips. Wow
I had forgotten about this lip liner for a long time. I apply lip liner to all of my lips and this looks GREAT. It lasts all day, the color is true and shows, and my lips don't get dried out. It wasn't incredibly smooth to apply, but it looks smooth on my lips. have east end snob- an excellent pink shade that can work with many different pink lipsticks. Love this, as well as Rimmel's 1,000 Kisses
I bought this lipliner by mistake as well, thought I was buying my 1,000 kisses....It is wonderful as well, extremely long lasting and beautiful colors. Not usually a lip liner wearing person..
But i saw this on clearance at target and thought "why not?", i bought East End Snob, i thought it was the color that resembled my natural lip color the best. Its a darker pink. It is so creamy and applies so well. It also makes my lips look fuller, it wears well with a lot of colors, and it stays on for awhile. I think i paid around $2-3 for this and wish i bought more colors. Fabulous!
Hey, this isn't your mother's lip liner. or maybe it is. I just recently tried this brand and am extremely pleased with the product's quality and style. My lip liner came attached to the lipstick, and the colors match very well, I have Liner in Obsession for my Bordeaux lipstick and Liner in Red Diva for my Temptation Lipstick. I had not been much into lip liners and then along came this item! I bought the red and have been able to use it alone without a lipstick over it - the color is great and of course when I apply my lipstick with it, my lips looks great. The liner lasts and lasts, too! I even keep it in my makeup bag and apply as needed (though it is not towted at long lasting, it really lasts a long time!
