L'Oréal Paris Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Foundation Reviews

You will love it!
CaroleVonAllten (1154 reviews)This is comparable to the more expensive mineral products, and I love that the brush is part of the powder. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

MissPurple (581 reviews)The product itself was good, but the container was hard to deal with and very messy! — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Poor color match
TheLacqueredLady (588 reviews)i have tried many different mineral foundations and the price of this one appealed to me. I like how it wears, but the shades just don't match what they are advertised. I found this was very heavy feeling on the skin and the brush was difficult to use for blending. Use a different brush with the product and use a light hand! — 9 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Thick Powder
Stef42678 (479 reviews)This mineral based foundation is very thick and feels cakey on your skin. It gives your face a dramatic look and serves as a base for your makeup but doesn't look natural. I don't like this because it is very heavy for a mineral based product, but it does go on easy to have your makeup stick. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Fell Apart
MLC512 (272 reviews)Since the "Mineral Makeup Trend" became popular, I've wanted to jump in and be a part of it, however, because of my oily, acne prone adult skin, I haven't been able to successfully do so. I put this on and by mid day, it fell apart on my face and every pore, wrinkle, line, imperfection was shining through. Not a good look for anyone. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Difficult, Dreadful, and Doubtful
Starluxe (298 reviews)While sifting through all the shades isn't difficult enough, at eight to thirteen dollars, this can be a drag to shop for. However, I managed to find a shade close to my skintone but left me rolling my eyes as another mineral formula failed to impress me. One positive aspect is that it does have a more matte finish and yellow undertones compared to a product line such as Maybelline Mineral Power but this was a chalked on mess. Not only was the brush included unuseful, it was stiffer in the middle and looser on the outter hairs which left streaky uneven application all through out the face, how inconvenient. Now, I don't mean to sound like a snob to L'Oreal as they make some of the finest lines but this gave me a reason to doubt when the day wore on and found that the chalky mineral makeup foundation wasn't even on my face anymore but had been easily rubbed off. This is definitely better applied with a much larger kabuki brush but don't expect it to be your cosmetic staple anytime soon as you'll see your complexion either shiny in a couple hours or uneven from the application flaws. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

Awful!
amygab1126 (240 reviews)I've been dissatisfied with a number of mineral foundations so far, but this is the worst! It looked as though I'd dusted metallic shimmer powder all over my face. Yes, there was significant coverage, but it settled in immediately and emphasized large pores and lines that I didn't even know I had! I'd like my skin to look somewhat like skin, and it didn't with this on. It somehow looked shiny and chalky at the same time - very mask-like. It smells bad, too. I washed my face soon after applying this product, unwilling to even try wearing it for a full day. I've since tried it again, using it more sparingly or in combination with other powders (I just hate to throw stuff away), but I can't make this work. Any amount of this powder on my face ruins the whole look. I think this is the first L'Oreal product that I've ever disliked. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I absolutely LOVE this foundation
runee89 (243 reviews)After all the different powders and foundations I have used, I have finally found a keeper! The color selection is great and actually offered a shade that matched my skin tone exactly - something that rarely happens for me as I have a darker, olive skin tone that needs yellow undertones rather than pink or orange ones. I only need a very small amount to give me a flawless, matte look. If your skin is a bit dry, you will certainly want to moisturize very well before applying this product and you won't have any problems. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Super Drying
chanceuxlilas (322 reviews)I would not purchase this again, nor do I recommend anyone else would. Not only is it impossible to get a close enough color match, but it is also super drying and brings out the worst in my skin. Very poor quality and the price is much too high for a drugstore product. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
