You get what you pay for with Dove, harsh chemicals that are not good for you

Doesn't nourish or moisturize

I don't feel like Dove cleans well and it certainly has nothing to nourish you, not with all of the harsh chemicals it contains

Creamy

This lotion is up there with Nivea Smooth Sensation. It is creamy and soaks right in, making me feel smooth and soft. The scent is light and it doesn't irritate. I would recommend it to other lotion junkies like me because they can pick up this little wonder cheaply at the local drug store.

creamy oil

i got some samples of this from a relative and reallyyy loved the creamy luxuriousness of it! It is a cream, but has almost a baby oil looking finish to it when you put it on your skin. I love it on my legs during the summer with a skirt becasue it gives ur legs that shine without being oily. Can get a little sticky, though, especially in the summer, so be sure to really rub it in and let it dry! Not the greatest scent, but not offensive either

Not so happy

Before this purchase, I had absolutely loved the way the Dove Cream Oil body wash had helped to reduce the feel and appearance of my chicken bumps. That said, I was so excited when I saw that I could add this product into my moisturizing regiment, knowing the positive effects I had received from the wash. I am minimally satisfied with this product. I will not purchase it again, and because of the...read more smell, (like an Elizabeth Ardeny'esk type) I sometimes hesitate to use it around people. Too greasy

I have pretty much resigned myself to never finding the perfect body lotion. I thought this might be the one since I love the Cream Oil body wash so much but alas, it was not. It is good, I like the scent, it hydrates well but it is still too greasy for me and doesn't sink in well. I don't like the "lotion-y" feeling on my skin after I apply it. I am still searching...

this is by far one of my faves

this is a favorite of mines and my husband's. he has man hands (dry, cracked, and sometimes painful) and this lotion seems to fill every crack and i just feels like the skin is being moisturized in front of your eyes. As for me I use it after shower and mostly on hands and feet. it smells so great and leaves my skin feeling supple and soft. I have used it in summer and I didn't feel that it made my skin oily (my skin is definitely oily).
