Bargain shoppers can call off the hunt. A giant bottle of this generations-old body lotion costs less than a movie ticket. Although moisturizing vitamins and lactic acid provide a non-greasy coating that absorbs fast, the drying fragrance and mineral water might not make it strong enough to restore "100 percent of daily hydration" to dry or windburned skin as well as other drugstore brands like Aveeno. Lack of sunscreen an issue? Vaseline's Daily Skin Shield lotion with SPF 15 comes in an equally large bottle.

    Soft and Smooth

    I love this lotion because it works as a great rehydrater and moisturizer. I live in the middle of a desert in Las Vegas, so my skin often gets really dry, so this is a great rescue. I also work outside all the time, so this lotion is perfect for making my skin soft and smooth again. The lotion is a great consistency and... goes on easy. It doesn't feel greasy like some lotions and is quickly absorbed into the skin. I love that it is made with vitamins to help restore the glow to your skin and keep it looking great. It works well in rehydrating your skin, because after each use my skin feels soft, refreshed and moisturized. February 22, 2008, 4:47 pm

    What a difference a few decades make!

    Maybe it's just me, but I swore off all Vaseline products except their petroleum jelly decades ago. Their lotions to me were like petroleum jelly--non-absorbing and like vaseline. I use a lot of lotion from every brand and price range and when I saw a free rebate (Net, I'd just have to pay the tax.), I figured I had noth...ing to lose. I could always give it to my neighbor. Well, I was thrilled. It was non-greasy coating and absorbed quickly. I now notice the coupons and sales and am stocking up. You wash you hands so often that it's good to get an inexpensive lotion that you may reapply 10-20 times per day and save the expense stuff for once a day or lless after a nice bath or shower.     Great Product at a great price

    This is a very good product and the cost is very affordable if you are budgeting your money. I use this product after I bathe or shower and it keeps me moisturized all day long. I have very dry skin, so a product really has to work for me to use it. If it doesn't do a good job of moisturizing I end up applying it a few tim...es a day in which I don't have time to do.     If you have problems with real dry skin in the winter, this lotion does help. It is alittle heavy and gooey, but just dont pump a whole bunch into your hand to put on. thin coats is the way to go with it. And the smell doesnt smell all like a perfume shop. I have had better, but for the money this one is pretty good if it b...eing so thick doesnt bug you. April 22, 2008, 9:05 pm

    Vaseline Magic

    Having dry skin in the summer is no fun but the vaseline intensive care total moisture skin lotion is the easiest lotion to use. It's never greasy after you put it on and the slight light fragrance smells clean and refreshing. After getting out of the shower is my favorite time to use it, its a nice refresher right after a ...shower making my skin feel smooth for the whole day. December 7, 2007, 8:24 pm

    It really works!

    I have acne all over my body and I have tried many body scrubs, lotions, and such. Then one day in Target, it happened. I found this lushious lotion that really helps my arms, legs, and back. I would recamend this to everyone I know. November 29, 2007, 2:53 pm

    Sticky and watery

    I love all the vaseline products except this one. It is watery and sticky. My daughter didn't like it because it is watery. I didn't like it because it is sticky afterwards. I gave the bottle to my mom and she didn't like it because it was too sticky also. Obviously, most people must like it, but I like richer lotion t...hat gets absorbed into the skin.     Self-proclaimed boutique lotions that break the bank? I don't think so. But this one does the job nicely. It's a price and quality that you can't beat. This is a great lotion that's impossible to waste your money on. It moisturizes without a sickly scent, and feels almost silky when you put it on. June 2, 2008, 2:28 pm

    My skin is very dry during the winter and summer months and not too many lotions work well for me. This I must say, works fabulously. It gives you the right amount on moisture, without leaving that greasy residue on your skin. Great product! May 23, 2008, 11:30 am

    cheap and does the job!

    I love this lotion because its price is awesome. But besides the price it gives me the right amount of moisture. I have very dry skin especially in the winter. this is the only lotion that works on my rough elbows. Def. recommeded May 21, 2008, 3:19 pm
