not for me

this tool only worked for me when the pimple was ready to pop anyway. It's easier to gentle squeeze with a tissue than pressing down with the tool.

Bad in the wrong hands

I'm on the fence about blackhead removers since it is way too easy to over-do it, but sometimes it is a quick way to remove those nasty things. First, I only do it at night after a hot shower or at least after I've washed my face and left a hot towel on my face to open up my pores. I also only allow myself two passes to get a blackhead out (or at least mostly out). I find if I do those things I ...read moreusually keep my skin from being to irritated. I also find that they come out best if I don't put direct pressure and kind of sweep the blackhead remover over the pore. Sometimes they come out better if you push at a different angle which is why I'll give myself two passes. I find that if I keep on attacking a stubborn blackhead it either still refuses to come out, becomes irritated and explodes into a pimple or comes out, is irritated and becomes so red that it might as well be a pimple. If you are a crazy picker, don't buy this. If you have self-control and want to remove the occasional blackhead, go for it.

Why such low reviews? I love it!

It hurts a little at first and takes some getting used to but it's completely worth it. I've tried a ton of face washes, scrubs, masks, and creams that claim to get rid of blackheads and none work. This really gets rid of the blackheads (which are pretty gross to look at) completely and is easy to use. And it's pretty cheap. Love it!

Leave Extractions to the Professionals

Even though it seems innocent enough -- stay away from any type of remover/extractor. This left serious red marks if you pressed slihtly hard. Since there is a tendency to "over do it" with extractions, this is one to leave to professionals ....

scary

after i bought this i attacked my husbands face with it.. i was determined to get every single impurity out of his face. The poor guy woke up with bruses all over his face the next day. it works good but i wouldn't really recommend it. and if you do use it be very gentle. it works excellent for getting blackheads out of your ears though.
