  Better for repair than maintenance

  I tried this shampoo based on reccomendations from a friend and I can't say that it performed any miracles for me. It did a good job cleansing but it left something to be desired in the way of shine and softness for me. I couldn't tell the difference in the strength of my hair before and after using this product, so I assum... I couldn't tell the difference in the strength of my hair before and after using this product, so I assume this has something to do with the strength of my hair to begin with (my hair was already quite healthy). If you're looking to repair some already evident damage, by all means give it a go but if you already have a head full of healthy hair you might want to look somewhere else to maintain it.   GREAT SHAMPOO FOR LONG HAIR !!!

  I have waist length hair, and this shampoo has been wonderful..... I have not had split ends AT ALL, since using this and the corresponding conditioner..... My hairdresser teases me, and askes all the time if I have been eating Miracle Go , because my hair has grown so much , so fast in the past 2 years..... and I am 39......   Lives up to it's Name

  This shampoo really does work. I'm middle aged but still prefer to kepp my hair long. I had a problem with hair breakage, also my hair is thinner than when I was young. This shampoo keeps my hair shiney without making it flat, and I've noticed a real difference in the amount of hair loss due to breaking off. I love this sh...   I have New Hair!

  I started using Long & Strong Shampoo and Conditioner about a year ago. I was using an expensive Salon Product. I prefer Garnier. My hair feels so smooth and soft and is very easy to comb thru. Great stuff! December 19, 2007, 8:27 pm

  Healthier hair

  After using the long and strong my hair grew a least 4 inches or more in just 2 months. It also made my hair a lot softer and healthier looking and added a nice shine to it. I would also recommend the conditioner. December 7, 2007, 7:12 am

  Most of this line has effective shampoos--regardless of hair length. This is a mild shampoo that cleans my hair whether short or medium or long. One lather is all that is required.   Garnier Shampoo

  I have had long hair my entire life, and have tried every shampoo imaginable. Garnier products really do make my hair softer and shinier, and I have a good hair day every day!! The only complaint I would have, is that I would prefer a stronger scent. November 12, 2007, 3:52 pm

  smells good!

  this is one of my favorite shampoos. Not only does it smell good, but my hair looks so shiny when i use it. the green bottle looks lively in my white shower, so i like the color. this is a great product to use, and even better when you can use coupons to bring the cost down.   Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo Long & Strong

  I did not like this product at all. I only used one complete bottle b/c I paid more for it and didn't want it to go to waste, but I wouldn't recommend it too anyone. It left my hair feeling sticky and not easily brushable. For a name brand I expected more from it. September 16, 2008, 7:31 am

  Not my favorite

  Although I'm a huge fan of Garnier's products, this is not one of my favorite shampoos. I have long, straight, fine hair, and this shampoo kind of weighs my hair down. I will use up the bottle I have, but will probably stick with Garnier Body & Volume shampoo in the future. August 1, 2008, 11:17 am
