This lightweight device dries fast and has attachments, but don't let buzz words like "ionic" and "ceramic" seduce you into buying it. Bad design and bogus claims had me ready to go back to the louder, heavier Elchim 1800. Despite having multiple settings, this dryer's heat was too intense and its frizz-fighting "Ion Select Dial" futile. Most frustrating were the shockingly short cord and poorly placed buttons, which caused me to shut off power unintentionally several times per blow-dry.

Great Affordable Hairdryer
by DDTrain (19 reviews)Trusted ReviewI don't understand the bad reviews. For those of us that can't afford a $200 hairdryer, this one is perfect. It used to take me 10-15 minutes to dry my hair, but this hairdryer does an amazing frizz-free job in 4 minutes. As for the editor's comment on the short cord (are you walking laps while you dry your hair?) and turn...ing the buttons off while drying (when I hold the dryer, my fingers can't even reach the buttons, so I don't understand how that can happen!). All-in-all, a great AFFORDABLE quiet dryer that leaves hair frizz-free, shiny and smooth.

Waste of Money and Time!
by Beccalee (9 reviews)I tried this dryer because of the tourmaline and ionic features, but was really wanting the almighty T3 Evolution, which I put off buying because of the price, but this Revlon was a terrible dryer, my Hot Tools ceramic did a better job of eliminating frizz than this useless dryer! I broke down and bought the T3, and I am a... customer for LIFE! I don't even have to use a flat iron to tame my top layer frizzies anymore, it creates a silky, shiny finish every time, in half the time! I have long, thick hair, and it used to take me 45 minutes to blow it dry, now it takes me 15 - well worth the money! Revlon bombed with this one. I gave it to my mom, she rarely uses a blow dryer and she doesn't like it either! May 6, 2008, 8:41 pm

Love this one
by trish617 (6 reviews)I have colored hair and since I bought this dryer my hair dries faster is less damaged seems shinier and I love that it is lightweight and quiet! As for the person who c/o the cord being short it is a great length. Never had any problems moving around or accidently turning it off while using even with my 3 yr old twins run...ning around my feet as I get dressed! I LOVE THIS HAIRDRYER! February 25, 2008, 8:11 pm

Blew me Away!!
by tennisbunny4541 (10 reviews)I have very long, hard to dry hair. It only takes me about 15 minutes compared to 30 with other dryers. The shine I have is brilliant and the dryer is quiet and dose not over heat !! That is a plus !!Also is not as heavy as alot of other dryers. I do not feel that the cord is too short and as for the price it has a warante...e which if you mail in it can be replaced within a year. Great product!! June 14, 2008, 2:06 pm

Pricing is Great

Decent For it's Price

So, I bought this one on Amazon for $20 plus free shipping. Pros: Dries hair fast, softens hair, lightweight, quiet, Cons: Doesn't completely eliminate frizz, way too intense heat (so ...damaging!!! Melting dryer!
