Not for me

Okay but didn't work well enough for me.
My skin: Severe cystic acne-prone skin. Very oily. Not sensitive to products. Requires a strict cleansing regimen of cleanser (sometimes 2x), alcohol based toner, and antibiotics (doxycycline) as well as topical treatments (I used several in rotation, including Clinique's Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer). PROS: Has 2. 5% benzoyl peroxide. As ONE part of my acne skincare arsenal, did a decent job of keeping acne to a tolerable level. CONS: The name is misleading--more of a clearing treatment than clearing moisturizer, which was okay for me since my skin was super oily. Did not cause my skin to become more sensitive or to dry out excessively. But for me personally, did not work as well on my skin as my 10% drugstore benzoyl peroxide. Did not eliminate acne completely (although I have yet to find anything that does). I have mild to medium acne, but my skin is not bad all the time. I purchased this (along with the cleanser) and I ended up taking them both back. I have oily skin, and I need a wash with more exfoliating action. I tried using it twice a day to see if that made a dif, but it still was not enough for me. The Cliniqu Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer (oil free) was good, but not good enough to pay what I had paid. I used it for about a week, and while it gave my skin a more matte look (which I like) it still didn't feel as clean. I also tried the Clarifying lotion, which was a great product, that one I kept, and will be purchasing again. My new 3-step moisturizer
I started having adult acne, and I switched to Clinique Acne Solutions 3-step products from the traditional Clinique 3-step system. So far so good. I like them. I feel that this moisturizer is gentle but effective for my skin. Just ok
I bought a tube of this in an effort to replace a Neutrogena moisturizer that had become hard to find. I wasn't impressed. It worked well enough for moisturizing, but it work as well as I would have liked for treating and preventing acne. Good Moisturizer
This is a good moisturizer if you wish to treat acne as it contains benzoyl peroxide. I used this in my teen years and it worked quite well for about half a year when used with the rest of the Acne Solutions line, but after six months it just didn't work for me anymore and I started too get acne again. So awesome!
For those of you out there looking for something to control your acne & sine, this clearing moisturizer is perfect! I was a faithful user of the Proactiv 3 step system, however it became hard to find and ordering online became a hassle and expensive. Clinique came up with the perfect 3 step system that superseed's Proactiv. Not only is it easy to find, Macy's, Lord & Taylor and online (shipping is generally free and quick) you also get more product from Clinique for a few dollars less then Proactiv. Works Great!

Found my perfection
i swear on this moisturizer that it is just absolutely amazing. I have been using it bout a year now and it never fails on me. My skin was much less shinier than before, my breakouts subsided, and the redness of my scars faded BUT with patience of religiously using this everyday. It smells slightly minty and pleasant and it does not irritate my very sensitive skin. i have been suffering from breakouts for almost 10 years now.
