I always use a combination of layering different mascaras, and I think that that is the best way to go: layering and taking your time with it. But only the best get into my layering routine, and I'd say this is one of the best. I like the effect, it does what it says. First I put on Paula Dorf's eyelash conditioner, then MaxFactor's 2000 calorie, curl the lashes, then this product (both ends), fol...read morelowed by Maybelline's Lash stilleto mascara. I woudnt buy it ever again.....
It did lengthen my lashes alot, but it was hard to apply and i had a lot of clumps because you have to put more than two strokes of black to cover up the white,it really curled my lashes but it made them hard,clumped,and spider leg looking,This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

it's not that good
I don't understand why so many people love this mascara. The white side does make my lash a little bit longer, but i found that it is so hard to cover the white stuff on my lash with the black side. I tried to put multiple layers of the black cover but my lash still looks gray after that. You can see the white base even more throught out the day because the black coat fell out, it also smudges. Are They Real or Fake?
I love this mascara. It is far better than many of the very expensive higher line products. The results surpass those I've gotten when I utilized other mascaras. I am always asked if my lashes are mine or false. My dermatologist even requested the name brand...go figure! Secret Weapon
This mascara beats everything I've tried and I'm a beauty product junkie. I have blonde lashes that aren't super long or thick, but I love dramatic eyes. This stuff is subtle enough for daytime wear, but when paired with eyeliner or shadow it just makes your eyes pop! Its cheap enough, easy to find, and makes my lashes softer, longer, and darker all day. I LOVE this mascara!!!
This product really delivers what it promises! It makes my eyelashes way longer than any other I've tried and thickens them without flaking or clumping! It is easy to apply and very affordable so it can't be beat! I have tried other two coat mascaras that weren't as good at all. dont get this
I'm sure there are worse mascaras out there- but this is pretty bad. The white primer is gloopy and doesnt coat my eyelashes very well (maybe this is a brush issue). And since the brush doesnt work that well, the black mascara part doesnt cover the gloopy white either. Love this mascara!
