I really like a lot of Shiseido products especially their Benefiance eye cream (the best of all eye creams for "women in their prime". This whitening cream worked well enough - I didn't notice too much lightening but the texture and smell were fine. It doesn't have sunblock so be aware of that. — 3 years, 11 months ago

This product provides revitalization of the skin by moisturizing, brightening and regulating cell turnover. The 'whitening' label is a misnomer here in the US but is believed by the Japanese. The Super-Hyaluron binds moisture to the skin. EPC-K provides anti-oxidant protection and Arbutin regulates melanin production. The cream is easy to spread, has a delightful texture and a soft, almost undetectable fragrance. The jar is a tactile pleasure to the eyes as well as to the hands but can be slippery at times and maybe difficult to open. The cream when applied VERY (and I mean VERY) sparingly works well for my skin type (Normal Combination) otherwise I experience a certain oily feel on the T-zone especially in the summer months where this cream is difficult to wear here in NY. The price makes it easy to attain. I'd pay any price for a 'whitening moisturizer'. I've had this since it's initial launch in England and it's the better option for me than the other Shiseido lines I have tried (Cle de Peau Beaute, Revital, UV White, qiora and Benefique - I am such a beauty junkie). — 2 years, 10 months ago

Worth the Price

This moisturizer is extremely revitalizing, especially in the wintertime. I put it on before bed, and wake up in the morning looking more energetic and youthful. The hyaluronic acid plumps up skin and works virtually overnight. The whitening formula also gets rid of any discoloration on the face, so the complexion is more perfected. However, it is pretty pricey and you can see that it loses effect if you stop using it. — 4 years, 6 months ago
