An Average Toner
I like a toner to tighten my skin and diminish pores. But, I'm afraid, one needs to have a professional facial to tighten pores. All this did for me was to remove any excess makeup I had on my face after cleansing. I like it!
My face does feel a tiny bit tighter after using this. It doesn't dry my skin and it feels a bit refreshing after using it. Affordable toner, but perfumey
My skin feels clean using this toner because it successfully picks up any remaining dirt and oil missed by my regular cleanser without irritating my skin. If you use only an alcohol free toner, this is probably not for you. I'm a regular user of Clinique Clarifying Lotion, but I bought this toner to save a few bucks. I finished the whole bottle recently. The size of my pores appear to be the same, but my blackheads seem to look less obvious. So why didn't I rate this higher? I don't like the fragrance they used for this toner. It smells very perfume-y. Not very "refining"
I'm on either my 3rd or 4th bottle and there has been no noticable changes to my pores, not even slightly. I use it after cleansing and it does leave my skin feeling fresh and clean, and that's about it...but that's not why I bought it. It received many great reviews so I was sold, but now I'm disappointed. Not drying!
I used this as a teen and it burned the crap out of skin back then and aggravated my acne. Now that i'm 23 i hardly get breakouts my huge pores and oily skin are my main concern. I tried this again and it doesn't burn anymore (little bit of stinging but is an astringent). It contains glycolic and salicyclic acid which help clean my pores and keep my skin smooth with gentle exfoliation. I use a mild cleanser for my sensitive skin and I use this after with a flat cotton pad so i'm for sure getting all the stuff off my face. Weeks later my skin is smooth, soft and pores are smaller. Absolutely Not Caustic
This was a mild, gentle toner. This isn't like the astringents out in the market where you have to feel stings on your facial area; it's effective but able to soothe the most sensitive skin. After a couple uses, my skin has felt softer and more supple. However, after a few days of use, I will find that that mid day I may find my skin a bit more shinier so oil blotting sheets are recommended for people who have oily skin. It really does feel like water being brushed against the skin and overnight, it will leave the skin feeling refreshed in the morning. stings but beauty is pain i suppose
i have extremely red/dry skin so reading the reviews i was a bit sketchy about this product i mainly bought it because i wanted smaller pores i use the pore defining cleansing exfoliator scrub first & then use this. Maybe not meant for my skin type
I was really excited to try this toner but it hasn't yet delivered any positive results. I have sensitive skin and it seems to dry my skin slightly. The alcohol smell is a bit too strong for me. Like it so far
