    Alright

    KateElizabeth (3 reviews)
It smells nice (light), and does leave skin feeling soft. I don't necessarily believe that it reduced any redness though. The bottle is sufficient for its purpose, and the packaging is pleasant. I would recommend this softener to somebody who is looking for one, but in my case I've decided that softener is kind of an unnecessary step in my routine. — 9 months, 2 weeks ago

i would recommend this softener. it smells nice and when used, it make my skin feel so clean. the packaging isn't all that nice, and the pump isn't that great because i always have to us a cotton pad and it's is a waste. but overrall this i like this product. — 11 months, 1 week ago

    Surprisingly effective

    BountyHunter (3 reviews)
When the makeup artist at Shiseido put this on my skin and told me that it helped moisturizer absorb, I was dubious (mostly because she couldn't tell me how it accomplished that). However, I ended up purchasing it & was surprised at how different my moisturizer & foundation felt when I used the softener first. It really does help the moisturizer absorb, especially in dry patches of skin. I really recommend this as a good way to ensure that moisturizer/foundation doesn't just slide off your face in hot weather. — 2 years, 9 months ago

it didn't really balance out my skin tone as much as other products have. But other people I know have used it and saw the difference. — 4 years, 5 months ago

    Softens without Striping!

    Dramaqueenie2 (14 reviews)
I am really impressed withthe Shiseido Pureness line of products and I think this may be the secret ingredient. It really does leave skin feeling clean and soft. I use this after I wash with the cleansing foam at night. It doesn't leave my skin dry and red, like alocohol toners do. But it makes my skin feel baby soft just like the name implies. Most nights I just use the cleanser, and then swipe with this softner on a cotton square. If I start to feel a pimple coming on I spot treat it with another product from this line. The only bad part about these product is that they aren't carried at stores like Ulta. But, I think they are worth a trip to the beauty counter at the bigger department stores because the products work so well. — 4 years, 5 months ago

This is an excellent product. It is not too expensive and really works to minimize pores. The product made my face feel nice and fresh after application and I really like it! — 4 years, 5 months ago
