perfect for damaged hair

I used to restore my hair after bad hair color treatment. My hair was very dry, as a straw. I used with the same conditioner and my hair now is shiny and healthy looking. The price is good also.

A total disappointment

I have the worst of both worlds: fine hair that frizzes in humidity and is prone to flyaways. Striking a balance between volumizing my hair and fighting the frizz is a real challenge. I'd hoped Sleek & Shine Sheer shampoo and conditioner would fit the bill -- smooth my hair without weighing it down too much. Actually, it does neither. I've previously used Suave and Aussie volumizing produ...read morects, and used this product with those in mind as a benchmark. It doesn't noticeably volumize my hair at all, and doesn't seem to combat frizziness well either. I even notice that my hair is harder to comb through after I get out of the shower than what I'm used to. I've tried leaving the conditioner in longer, rinsing it out more thoroughly, less thoroughly, you name it ... no difference.

Fantastic shine.

This shampoo leaves my hair with the best shine and softness. My husband even uses it and I even noticed how his hair shines even more.

Sleek & Shiny Hair

I have always had a problem with little frizzies around the top of my head. Garnie Fructis Sleek & Shine shampoo and conditioner make those non-existent!! I never thought I'd find a product that could do that. And when I don't have the shampoo or conditioner in the house, I use the after-shampoo sleek-and-shine stuff. It works great!!

Good for your roots, but has silly packaging

I used to use this product on my fine, curly hair to help calm it down (I convert my kinky curls to soft waves with a curling iron) and keep it frizz free without stealing any volume. I like the product, but what really stopped me from using it was the silly packaging. How on Earth do they expect people with wet hands to be able to open the bottle? It became such a hassle to me that I stopped using the product altogether.

I'm not that impressed

I haven't really noticed any changes using this shampoo, but then again, I color my hair, so I don't know if that affects its ability or not. It is a great value for the money though, but I'm not sure it lives up to its claims.
