I can put it on when i feel a zit forming and within a couple hours its at a head. I had trouble with scarring before (purple spots) and now i dont have to worry about that because this works GREAT! 	Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Spot Gel i keep this in my stash fot those little pesky white heads that pop up every once in a while. i put a dab on my clean face before bed and voila! in the morning i'm good to go. not the most effective on larger blemishes but it does do a pretty good job for me.
