Lipfinity Fails

I'm surprised that many reviewers over this product. *Sigh* Another disappointment from MaxFactor. I received this lip color in "Glowing" - which can be described as matte mauve with a very slight shimmer. First, I applied the lip color and let it dry before the applying the moisturizing top coat. Once the lip color was applied, it left my lips tight and a matte finish - something I wasn't fond of. I’ve noticed that long wear lip colors tend to be drying. After the lip color was dry, I then applied the moisturizing top coat which reminded me of a lip balm that gave my lips a slight shine. Even after the application of the moisturizing top coat, it still left my lips feeling dry and tight. As for staying power...it did not last for 12 hours...more like 3-4 hours. At the end of the day, I was left with a slight mauve stain and dry lips.

Great Mascara!

PROS: - Clump and smudge free! The innovative mascara wand, lifted, seperated and de-clumped my lashes! - Left my lashes looking voluminous, dramatic and lengthened - Great staying power! The mascara did not budge or smudge, even in warmer weather. CONS: - A hefty price tag! $28 is a little too much for 3 months worth of product. - Application can be a little tricky, because you're suppose to rotate the brush as you apply the mascara from the lash roots to tips.

Disappointing product

I was extremely disappointed with this product. The product is labeled as a Conditioning Treatment, which is supposedly better than your standard conditioner -no? I gave it a 2, because I have to give credit that it did do its job - hair conditioning. I expected what a conditioning treatment is supposed to do – moisturize, and strengthen, and condition my hair. However, the conditioner is nothing to rave about. This did nothing exceptional for my hair that a regular conditioner would do. Trust me...there are far better conditioning treatments out there - ex. Neutrogena Triple Conditioner Recovery Mask.

One of the better drugstore shampoos

Overall, this was a pretty good drugstore shampoo compared to other drug store shampoos out in the market. For reference, I have long fine hair with a dry scalp and dry/damaged ends. Intially, this product worked great for my long hair. However, over time, it dried out my scalp and made it itch like no other. This product might be better suited for those with a less sensitive scalp and thicker hair.

This should not be America's #1 Mascara

First off, this should not be America's #1 Mascara. I don't know how it keeps coming up in Allure's Best Beauty Buys. Perhaps, it's because it's the same formulation when it first started. Times have changed and new and better mascaras have pushed this mascara behind. Anyways, this mascara did nothing for my lashes.

Horrible Lipgloss

I bought a two pack at Target for cheap in Pink Sorbet. I never tried their lipglosses and decided to give this a try. From the packaging, the lip gloss looked like a baby milky pink...a color that I was looking for. However, I was highly dissappointed by this product. I definitely will not be buying this again! Texture: This product wasn't sticky like most lipglosses. It went on smooth and almost feels moisturizing. But it dried out my lips. Color: Looks can be decieving, especially this lip gloss. When applied, I was hoping for a milky pink color, instead it gave me a clear color. I guess if you're looking for clear lip gloss, this might win over you. Staying Power: Shiny-licious lives up to its name for about a couple minutes, after that, you have to re-apply again! There is definitely so staying power for this lip gloss. This was the first time I've ever tried Maybelline's lip glosses and most likely I will not be buying their lip products again!! I'm glad this was cheap!

Best drugstore Toner I found!

This is the best drugstore toner that I ever found for my acne-prone skin. I love how it is alcohol-free, so it does not dry out my skin. It's also an amazing steal for about $5 or $6.

Great Alcohol-Free toner!

I recieved this toner as part of my sample package. Even though it's labeled as a lotion, it's actually a toner. A great toner I might add, it's alchol-free and contains very little ingredients. It did not strip my face like most toners and did not break me out! My only con for this is the price. I usually don't spend more than $5 or $6 on toners. The smallest bottle costs about $15.

Great Mask!

I actually recieved this as a sample and was quite impressed! Once applied, you have to wait for about 20 minutes before you wash it off. I was a little hesitant that it might dry out my skin. But guess what? It didn't! A great mask that won't dry out my sensitive skin! It left my skin feeling soft and moisturized! It also contains AHA that gently exfoliates your face.

Excellent spot treatment!

I recieved this drying cream with my free sample kit. I was extremely impressed with this drying cream. It works best on cystic acne. However, on the instructions, it mentions to apply on whiteheads - I beg to differ. Toned down my cystic acne considerably!
