Smells like an ash tray

It didn't moisturize as well as any other conditioner I've ever used (even generic brands), and it made the entire bathroom smell like an ash tray. My boyfriend was *very* upset with me for using it when we were in the shower together! I'm glad I received a free sample of this from Lush or else I would have been livid.

It may be oil-free, but it still makes me look oily

This moisturizer has a lot of great traits going for it: it smells wonderful, it goes on very light yet moisturizes even really dry skin, and it offers SPF 15. The problem is, I bought it because it was oil-free and assumed that meant it wouldn't make my face shiny; in fact, if I put it on I have to coat my face in powder immediately afterwards or suffer the embarrassment of having what looks like an oil slick on my face. If this moisturizer didn't make my face look so shiny, I'd never buy another one. For now, I'll keep looking.

Perfect in every way

I absolutely love Lube in a Tube. I have 4 tubes in constant rotation (I've tried every shade) and I just love using them. The sheer colour is fantastic for someone like me who feels a little overpowered by lipstick, the minty taste feels great on my lips, and the texture is lovely--not sticky at all. The tube may seem small but they seem to last quite awhile. I'll definitely be buying this again when I run out.

Long-lasting, nice texture, but where's the oomph?

I love the texture of these shadows, and I love that they don't crease and have real staying power. The problem is, the colour is just so "blah"! When I apply the shadow, you can't even tell I'm wearing anything. That's a great quality for a foundation, but not-so-great for an eyeshadow. I know the colours are supposed to be neutral, and that's what appealed to me, but I'd at least like it to look like I'm wearing something.

Gets creased, flakes off, but you can't beat the colour

I have to agree with the editor's review on this one. The shadow definitely flakes onto your lower lids after you're done applying, which can be a pain -- especially in dark colours, like the smoky coloured palette I own. It also tends to crease after a few hours of wear, but that's pretty standard for non "luxury" shadows. Why I still love these palettes are their colour combinations...they look absolutely fantastic together, and my smoky palette (#08) is all I ever need when I'm going for that dramatic look.

Best eyeliner I've ever used, hands down

Until this product, I'd never found an eyeliner that worked the way I wanted it to. I was looking for an eyeliner that went on thin, smooth, and stayed put. This one succeeds on all counts. My only gripe, and this is minor, is that sometimes the liner gets pushed back into its case when I'm applying it. It doesn't happen often, and it's easy to correct, so I'm giving this a very enthusiastic 9.

Not clump-free, but still high-drama

When I first started using this, I was disappointed. Its big selling point was that it was clump free, and instead, I had more clumps than ever before. A few months later and the clumps are still there, but at least smaller than before. The reason why I still like the product, however, is because it really does add extra drama to my eyes. It makes them look thicker and longer than before, and although it doesn't exactly look natural because of the clumping, I still prefer it to my barely-there mascara of old.

Not-so-smart-shade

I tried this after a friend recommended it to me. Finding the perfect shade has never been my strong suit. My skin has golden undertones that most fair foundations have a hard time matching--as it turns out, this one was no different. I tried it on before heading out for the night. Since I had applied it in my bathroom, which has no natural light, I was horrified to discover in the car on the way to dinner that my skin was yellow and there was a distinct line between my neck and my face. Talk about embarrassing. I'm still looking for my perfect foundation!

Easy application, but disappears quickly

This was my first foray into cream blush (I was a powder faithful before), and I was really excited to give it a shot. I used this product in "Rain," and even though it looked dark in the tube, it blended into my skin to form a peachy, natural glow. As far as ease of use and the colour, I have no complaints. It also smells like lavender, which makes me happy. What doesn't make me happy? The fact that the blush is gone by lunchtime. If it had more longevity, I'd be happy to buy it again, but next time I'll purchase something else.
