Has a learning curve

It took me a few days to figure out how to use this stuff. I've had similar products before, but always used them when I had a short choppy haircut. I found that it did a great job of fighting the moisture and humidity in the air. Typically if I straightened my hair and walked out in the rain, my hairstyle would be ruined for the rest of the day. However, this stuff seemed to protect and keep my hair looking great. I hated it at first. I thought it made my hair look greasy, but once I figured out the perfect amount and how to put it on I loved it.

Did nothing for my curls, but great for when I blow dry my hair

I think this product just confirmed my suspicion that there is no product out there that can make my natural hair look pretty. I tried using this stuff as directed one day. I wound up breaking out my straightener and straightening my hair because my hair looked like crap. It was still ultra frizzy. However, I used this stuff in place of my usual mousse and just blow dried my hair and I was impressed. I love the texture. It almost reminds me of the whipped cream out of the cans. It seems really thick, but once you work it into your hair it is nice. It seems to protect my hair pretty well. What I love most about this is how soft and light it is.

Perfect

I used to swear by Clinque's soap. I used it for years. However, I don't have the money that I used to now that I'm married and earning my Master's degree. I've found that this doesn't dry my skin out. I also break out a lot less than I used to. I've found that all I need to do with my skin is wash with this and put on a moisturizer. Its really improved the look of my skin. I probably won't go back to Clinique even after I graduate and get a job.

Why spend more?

I'm always extremely impressed by Suave products. I'm a graduate student and don't make a lot (any) money. I've gone from buying expensive professional and boutique brands to buying Suave. Even after I land my dream job, I'll probably never go back to spending $10+ on body wash again. This has been by far some of my favorite body wash I've bought. I bought the vanilla lavender and I love it! I look forward to taking showers. I bought the stuff on sale for $1.50 and I love it. It never dries my skin out and the scent is soft and enjoyable.

Not a bad scent, but no lasting power

I had to read the card several times. It says it is a Eau de Parfum, but I have had Eau de Toilettes last longer. The scent isn't bad. They have it right, it is a very feminine, girly scent. However, I agree with some reviewers who compare it to an "old lady" smell. It does smell like a very classic perfume. For me it left some things to be desired. I usually wear Juicy Couture, Lacostte Inspiration, or Vera Wang Princess. It didn't seem to stay with me like those scents do. I understand that a quality perfume is supposed to fade throughout the day and change, but midday the scent isn't even recognizable. I've also received zero compliments on it. I will almost always get a compliment from someone who is sitting next to me. Save your money and try something else.

Mixed feelings

Overall, I feel like this is a phenomenal mascara for the price. Unfortunately I think this mascara's greatest strength is also its greatest weakness. The actual formula is what I've come to expect from L'oreal, it wears great. Despite crying once while wearing this mascara, it never smeared or smudged, but came off easily. However, as I mentioned, this mascara's innovative wand is not only its strength, but also its weakness. What's bad: No matter what I did, mascara seemed to cake behind the medieval mace looking brush. If I didn't wipe it off before applying my mascara, I'd end up with horrible stuck together lashes with too much mascara on them. I hated having to waste that much mascara. What's good: The brush really is awesome. It reached lashes I didn't even know I had. As long as I wiped the base of the wand off, I had no smears or smudges from applying the mascara. If it was possible, I'd give L'oreal a 10 for overall concept, but a 5 for its actual execution.

Light

This is a lotion I like for the summer. In the winter, when my skin is extra dry and cracked, I prefer something more creamy. However, if you want something light and that absorbs quickly, this is a great lotion. It is also a great buy for the price!

Eww

Between this, the mascara in a fancy tube, and the tube that looks like a barbell...I'm convinced that Physicians Formula makes THE worst mascaras around. I bought this thinking that the tube might make it easier to get the product off the sides. As usual for PF, innovative packaging can't make up for a crappy product.

Favorite

Like a previous reviewer, I also think this is the best liquid liner. I actually like the slightly stiff brush. I think it makes it easier to apply than some of the other softer brushes. I also love the subtle sheen to the liner. Its very beautiful and dramatic. I think this is a great liquid eyeliner for people who are new to liquid eyeliner.

Decent

I bought this before I made the switch over to more expensive make up. I have barely used any of it...for two reasons. The dark patches are really dark. I prefer my blush to be much lighter. Even when I swirl my blush brush around, its almost too dark when I put it on. The good news is, it would probably last me longer. I'm sure it would work really well and look very natural on women with darker skin than me (I'm copy paper white).
