I found a replacement.

I recently got a cut that took off a little more than 3in of my bottom layer and king of chopped up the back. I looks great when it is pieced out or shaped in a different way. My stylist started me using Marsh Mellow by Schwarzkopf. Sometimes the style did not last, the product would get stuck on my had, I would have to use hair spray with it. Sometimes the product would leave white specks in my dark hair as well. I was so excited when I got this product to sample. It did all the things Marsh Mellow did and did not do. My style last all day without any left over residue in my hair. I even forgot it was in my hair and used a flat iron to fix the long pieces of my hair. I was thinking that it should have harden my hair like the Marsh Mellow. It did no such thing. May hair remained soft, but as always my style held. I had used a product like this from bumble and bumble before. It was too sticky and did not add shine to my hair like this product. I am so glad that I have found a product that I can deal with, with my new cut.

I have had this product less than a week...

and I have used it everyday for something different. I give it a ten for being versatile. Day one i just put some on my hair, did a pin curl to the section of hair i had placed it on to test it on dry hair. I was tempted to taste it because it dispenses and looks like the topping that it is probably named after. When it dried, (which did not take long) I released my pin curl and it dropped done but kept an excellent form. It was not hard at all. It was too perfect. Day two I washed my hair and added this to my blow dry. My hair was not as frizzy, but still had some body, bounce, and shine. I had to wash my hair again to see how in dried without heat. Hair was still soft, manageable, full of body and bounce. Day three I did a roller set. Same reaction. I also found that it is great on natural hair for keeping it in plats. Keeps little girls edges curly, but if they are wild they may frizz up a bit.

If you love your curls...

You will want to try this product. It works on natural black hair as well. At first I didn't care for the look of my massive, ultra wavy hair before a relaxer, and my stylist slapped some of this stuff in. In the shop it eased my wave and was not massive at all and soft after a blow dry. This product made my hair not so massive, eased my wave, and helped give me cute, controled medium sized ringlets (never had those show up) when I let my hair air dry. I did have other product in my hair, but they were regular products for shine and conditioning, because I do not find this product that conditioning.

one of my favs

When I was using this product with the shampoo my hair may not have gotten as tamed, but it did get some type of discipline and my hair was much stronger.

Rose is not for me...

but for the first time someone has put it in a perfume where the scent of the rose is not too overwhelming. I know that there are floral lovers out there that would enjoy this fragrance. I have an Aunt that likes this product. She enjoys the scent and loves how long it last on her skin. I do agree that it matches her chemistry.

The technology of the flexi-globe brush.

This brush gives extra length to my lashes, and grabs the tiny lases that are very hard to reach. The result is longer ,more noticeable lashes. The formula is not as creamy as it is advertised and dries very quickly. There is no smudging or spreading of product once it is applied. Very few times have I seen this mascara clump..

Hair feels good, but scalp does not.

I have been using this product for about a month and my scalp is worst than before when I was using Dr. Miracle's on my scalp. I wanted to switch, mainly because of the petroleum. This balm did not do anything for my scalp. It seems that it would be perfect on very dry, damaged, or chemically treated hair. My hair is very silky, but my scalp is not happy. My hair is also on the greasy side, which I hate.

Is good on thickening while preventing breakage.

Now that I have had this product for a month I have tried it different ways but I still find it mediocre among other hair oils. Plus I am tired of paying so much for soy bean oil in products. It is not worth $19. The best thing about this product is that I can see where it has strengthen my hair, but it made it coarse in the process. I prefer a product that strengthens by giving elasticity without making each hair thicker. It is an oil, so it does add shine.

No Water Please!

I have used a homemade hair butter on my scalp for years. I had seen many good, and very few bad reviews on this product,I wanted to give it a try. I knew it had water in the ingredients, but I was thinking that it could not be that bad. I purchased the hair elixir and the hair balm (Jada's Dynamic Duo) to use with this product. After washing my hair I based my scalp with a thin layer of the elixir, then applied the Hair butter very lightly to my scalp, and dressed my hair with a small dab of the hair balm. I awoke the next morning excited to unwrap my hair. It seemed very soft, shiny, and slick. When I unwrapped my hair It just wasn't what I had expected. My hair was okay, but not as good as it had been. My scalp looked fine, but when I combed my hair there were a few flakes. I used the three products for two weeks. In side the two weeks I had to dress my scalp every other day and not once a week. It had to be the water in this product, because all of the other ingredients (except soy oil, corn oil, and beeswax) are found in my other butter.

A user since 1987

When I was a lot younger my skin would get extremely dry and itcy from other soaps and body bars. My pediatrician recommended this product to my parents. It was flawless with the first use. First we used the bar and as I got older I progressed to the refreshing shower and bath gel. It is always in my shower, and if I try something new, this is my fall-back product when I give up on the new product.
