I actually really like this

Yves Saint Laurent's new Eau De Parfum, Parisienne is FANTASTIC! I give it 10 out of 10 stars. I really like this scent which is odd because I don't typically like floral scents but this one is floral with fruity undertones: Blackberry - Damask Rose and Sandalwood It's light and authoritative. I don't think it's for everyone but I liked the light scent. I don't like scents that overpower you. Parisienne keeps on keeping on throughout the majority of the day. It retails for $39 for a 1 oz bottle, $65 for a 1 and a half ounce bottle and $85 for a 3 oz bottle. That's not too hard on the wallet for this delectable fragrance. Also, the design of the bottle is very elegant. The one thing I didn't care for is the whole "sex sells" message that's used to promote the fragrance. I think this product could sell just fine on it's own with adding all the sex undertones.

I LOVE THIS Mascara

Talk about 360 degrees. L'Oreal Paris' new Telescopic Explosion Mascara is awesome! I have to tell you that this is my favorite mascara yet. I have used a number of brands and even L'Oreal's own Extra Volume Collagen Mascara and their HIP Volumizing Mascara. Here are three reasons why I like this mascara the best: 1- I love the little round brush that makes applying the mascara to my lashes effortlessly. It is so easy to separate each lash with this conveniently mini-bulb shaped brush. I don't like too much mascara on, making my eyes too gaudy looking so this works great for me. 2- No clumping and no smudging throughout the day. When I get home, it looks like I just applied my mascara. 3- The container is THE cutest. The red tube is so sleek and is a wonderful addition to my purse's contents! Finally, the Telescopic Explosion mascara by L'Oreal has brought the inner beauty in me out. By this, I mean I was not making time for applying makeup in the morning but I love this mascara so much, I look forward to wearing makeup! (well at least most mornings...)

WOW I'm impressed with this Deep Set Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream

L'Oreal Paris offers a breakthrough for those with deep set under eye wrinkles. This product is a dual eye cream which consists of an AM cream with SPF 15 that needs to be applied after your morning cleanse routine and prior to sun exposure. Then there's a PM cream that is to be applied at night also after cleansing. By using both creams, L'Oreal claims that the fiber-restoring complex will help to repair broken skin fibers around the eyes. While I don't have any under eye wrinkles, I've been using Advanced RevitaLift Deep Set Wrinkle Repair 24 hour Eye Repair Duo for the past week to evaluate the product. I was anxious to see if there would be any visible changes in my under eye area. Here are my findings: Usability (Effectiveness) - A 10 all the way, I was amazed at how my under eye area appear to smooth out. Again, while I don't have wrinkles under or around my eyes, the Revitalift formula still caused my skin to look smoother and more youthful. Another big benefit of this product is you see visible changes within a few minutes. This product reminds me of another that I use because it plumps the skin around the eye area. Likability- An 8 . I like that the product has one tube with the AM on one end and the PM on the other. The packaging is very practical. I do however think that the SPF should be 30 for extra protection, especially since the eye area is very sensitive. What I don't like is while the product does appear to be effective at doing what it claims to, it's still filled with synthetic ingredients. Anyone who has been reading my reviews knows by now that I prefer natural ingredients. That's the reason I gave this product an 8 versus a 10. However, if you don't mind the chemical ingredients then you will like this product. It delivers results and only retails for approximately $19.99

Loooooooooong Lasting!

This mascara is one of the best. The packaging is ever so sleek and the mascara lasts all day without any running. I tend to wipe my eyes during the day but I am really pleased that I didn't have raccoon eyes by the end of the day! The only thing that struck me was that I didn't see where it gave my eyelashes a more "full" look than L'Oreal's other mascara products. The brush applicator also didn't seem to be that much bigger than the others. These are not negatives, just an observation.

This may be the best in the line

While the other Tousle Me Softly products are disappointing to me, the spray gel was actually ok. It helped to lay down my edges and keep my hair manageable. The one downfall of this product is the scent is more artificial smelling than in the rest of the collection.

Slightly Better Than The Shampoo

This conditioner is not any better than other conditioners on the market. As a matter of fact if I had to choose a conditioner that was not completely natural it would be Garnier Fructis. The scent of this conditioner is ok but it did not help to detangle my already badly tangled hair thanks to the shampoo.

One of The Worst

This shampoo has to be one of the worst I've used to date. I don't know if it's because I don't have hair texture like caucasian women or what but my hair was so tangled during washing I had to add another moisturizing/detangling shampoo to help detangle it. The only plus was while the scent is quite artificial in most of the other products, the scent in this product was not all bad. Oh I forgot to mention my hair also felt stripped after just one wash.

Dried My Hair Out

Again, I'm not impressed with this line. This mousse dried my hair out. Then again, what should I expect from products called "Herbal" yet have a boat load of chemicals in them.

Not Much Better Than Gel

I'm not quite sure what Herbal Essences was trying to accomplish when they made this finishing cream. HE boasts that these products are for all hair types. I beg to differ. I have African American hair, all natural with no chemicals and quite manageable. This mousse did nothing for me but allow me to pull my hair back into a sleeker ponytail.

Cutesy but not Innovative

Unilever has just released these new Q-tips vanity packs available in four designs that are great for sitting on your counter tops or vanity areas. While these new vanity pack cases are more attractive than the traditional box of Q-tips I'm not in love with the designs as much as I would be if they had more contrasting designs and were a different shape. The boxes are just little square boxes that have a slide out drawer. Convenient but not all that innovative. If I were Unilever, I would have designed the new Q-tips cases in maybe a pentagon shape with a pop up dispenser. Well, that's just me because I think if you are going to release a product on the market to rival competitors - for people to add to their beauty and vanity tables, it should be cutesy but also something that stands out. True enough, there isn't another cotton swab on the market that can match that of Q-tips quality but I still think it's a great idea to differentiate Q-tips even further by offering an innovative design. I would have also made the designs sharply contrast each other. Maybe one case with circle designs or rainbow colors on it. This way you have a nice variety for people to choose from. However, I'm not the product manufacturer so if I had to choose from one of the four designs it would have to be the orange and gold one because it matches my vanity area perfectly since I have a golden armoire. Of course my daughter chose the red one since it's her absolute fav color!
