revolutionary

I will say this almost lives up to all of it's claims. I believe this is the original/ ultimate mineral foundation BUT I'm sure many copycats would work just as well. You could consider this a comment on mineral foundation in general. I only have experience with this and Avon version. I didn't like the Avon at all, so I moved to the OG- Bare Minerals, and let me tell you, the idea of touching liquid foundation to my face ever again just makes me cringe. I also think applying this takes half the time that liquid does!

would have never normally purchased this but...

I usually try more expensive moisturizers. I say "try" because I have a hard time finding something to address the need for moisture and acne/shine control. I bought this recently when I lost my luggage because I figured it would be the least likely to screw my skin up and I think I'm hooked! I love the lasting menthol-y feeling (just not in the eyes...yikes) and it already got rid of the tiny bumps on my forehead. I have yet to find a product (or combo of products) that will keep my face from shining halfway through the day, but this is acceptable at least because my skin will veer more toward dewy, than greasy.

bug repellant

How can they call it "The" Hairspray when it smells like bug spray! You just expect pricier hair products to smell good. This doesn't. Apart from that, it works alright. I still get use out of mine by spraying a bit on my roots before bed if I'm not washing my hair the next day.

swoon

I like their "swoon"- light pink shade, and the coral. They're regular staples of mine. They look great if you dust with some regular face powder after applying. Looks more natural. And of course... use a real blush brush.

darkest one pictured = I love

In the box pictured, cafe classics, I love that dark shade! It's so cheap you could just buy it for the one shade. It's unique and matches with everything. The funny thing is, I like the other shades in the box as well, but on my skin they're too subtle and they all just end up looking like the same shade of white.

where is it?

agree with everyone. maybe you can see some pigment after you apply about 10 layers. I liked the color options but it doesn't matter if you can't actually see them on your face. This is slowly making it's way to the bottom of my drawer

my favorite

I use "summer berry", #65. I'm picky about the shade of red I use and I get complimets on this one every time. It doesn't even look that bad when it fades! Kind of strawberry. Nutrisse doesn't smell bad, doesn't stain your skin easily, has good conditioner and sticks to your hair. I used to use Feria because it had nice colors but I found it just didn't cover the way this does. It also seems to be on the lower end as far as price goes!

get lavender pearlescent!

This color is as girly as I'll get for nail color (toes only for me). Something about this color, it's my new favorite, very sexy but not over the top, cheap, or old-fashioned looking. As with any nail polish you should use 2-3 coats for it to look right, and run a cotton swap dipped in remover around your skin at the end if you need to, for that precise look. It is metallic and therefore sticky after all. Also... it smells faintly like berries.

bad, and I know cheap polish!

I swear this turned my toenails yellow, it's finally growing out now. Won't use this again. I thought the colors were ok in the bottles, I have a thing for green toe nail polish, but when their green shade was "on" it ended up looking juvenile. HIGHLY metallic. Someone jokingly asked me if I used stainless steel on my toes. I was joking that it was actually car paint. On the flipside because it's highly metallic it stays on forever! (A good thing if you like the look).

not impressed

For a product that comes out of the bottle blood red, I didn't notice a boost in color or shine. If it even just made my hair shinier with no color I might like it! But it made my dry hair look like it needed to be washed the same day I washed with this. The funny thing is, my husband liked the weird hair dye scent that it had. It's not a horrible scent, but again, it has all of the properies of a color enhancing glaze but just didn't do it for my fading red hair!
