My brand obsessions:
love all elemis products, they are all 100% organic and smell lovely, benefit and mac make up have to be faves when on a splurge but on a budget anything from miss sporty to l'oreal to bourjois. For hair it has to be pantene/aussie/tresemme, and for anything body probably dove (love their campaign for real beauty) or garnier. Everything else includes: st tropez, body shop, gosh, too faced, nars, fake bake and lush.
I'd bawl my eyes out if this product was discontinued:
benefit bronzer and highlighter duo - it is truly one of those miracle products i could not live without - it instantly adds a subtle bronze to the face whilst highlighting cheekbones, and on top of all this the combination creates a natural looking radiant glow, which is a life saver on those pasty days!
Save your money! Here are 5 products I bought and regretted:
1.maybelline volume express waterproof - 100% waterproof and 100% impossible to remove - literally took days to remve, not to mention many eyelashes.
2.veet ready to use wax strips - they just plain don't work and leave behind a sticky mess, which you don't even get enough after wipes to clean up properly.
3.garnier nutri-summer self tanning moisturizer - luminous orange skin with a a side order of irritable itchyness for days. no thanks.
4. oxy spot removing pads - smells like nail varnish remover and feels like it too - way too harsh for the face.
5.dior airflash foundation - absolutely beautiful, radiant, flawless cover - shame it costs 26 quid only lasts half as long as a deodorant.
From shower to "out the door," how long I take to get ready on an average day:
probably an hour and a half averagely, on a rough day half an hour and on night out three to four!
Beauty trend I'd really, really like to learn or try:
the make-under, where less is more - i'm always too scared to ditch foundation or mascara for a natural look and end up layering it on!
What makeup thingy is always in my purse:
bourjois kohl and countour black pencil eye liner, benefit bronzing duo, st tropez face brush and barry m clear lipgloss.
Ah, memories... My biggest junior high beauty mistake:
had to be the slicked back hair, blue eyeshadow and lashings of black eyeliner (cringe).
Most cringe-worthy beauty treatment I've ever endured:
a very unprofessional spray tan involving me getting tan solution in my eyes followed by three days of dreadful streaky tan developing.
The most $$ I've ever shelled out for a beauty product:
probably had a few impulse splurges but always remember dior airflash being the most frivolous at 30ml for 26 pounds.
About Me:
total beauty product obsessive junkie trying to pick up a few gems to satisfy my product cravings on a students budget!
