Skin type:

Sensitive

Hair color:

Brown

Hair type:

Wavy, Normal, Thick

Ingredients I hate or am allergic to:

Formaldehyde, Mercury, Octyl Dimethyl Paba, PABA, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Talc

My brand obsessions:

Any brand that doesn't test on animals.

I'd bawl my eyes out if this product was discontinued:

Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion Sunscreen

Save your money! Here are 5 products I bought and regretted:

Lorac Lotsa Lash Mascara DuWop Elixrstix Gloss MAC Prep/Prime Eye Guerlain Divinora Liquid Eyeliner Stila Lip Rouge

From shower to "out the door," how long I take to get ready on an average day:

1 hr at THE MOST. I can never wake up early enough to do a full face in the morning before going to work. As long as I have my sunscreen on, my "all in one" color stick and lipgloss and my long hair up in a bun, I'm good to go.

Beauty trend I'd really, really like to learn or try:

Face painting/art using makeup.

What makeup thingy is always in my purse:

Lipgloss or chapstick.

Ah, memories... My biggest junior high beauty mistake:

Putting in blonde streaks in my hair which ended up in blocks of color and literally destroyed my hair.

Most cringe-worthy beauty treatment I've ever endured:

bikini waxing...but you do get used to it eventually.

The most $$ I've ever shelled out for a beauty product:

Over $100 on M.A.C. eye shadows and pigments all in one day.

About Me:

I work at a hospital as a radiology technician. I'm 23 yrs. old and an avid runner and occasional surfer. My "must have" item is sunscreen/sunblock because skin protection is the most important to me. I don't wear a whole lot of makeup, especially during the day but I love to collect eyeshadows, pigments, lip glosses and lipstains. I'm presently trying to research brands that don't test on animals. I realize this can be difficult and a daunting task because even if the final product says "cruelty free", it doesn't mean that each individual ingredient that went into making the product wasn't tested on animals. I just have to remember that most of these items I can live without.
