Skin type:
Oily
Hair color:
Black
Hair type:
Straight,
Fine,
Normal
Ingredients I hate or am allergic to:
Alcohol, Ammonia, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde-based Resins, Formaldehyde-releasing Preservatives, Fragrance, Mercury, Parabens, Talc
My brand obsessions:
Clinique, Origins, Paul Mitchell.
I'd bawl my eyes out if this product was discontinued:
Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil or Clinique Blended Powder...then it's back to a perpetually oily face and melting eyeliner. T_T
Save your money! Here are 5 products I bought and regretted:
1. The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying SPF 15...so greasy...so very greasy
2. Any of the "tweenie" products at Sephora such as Hard Candy, Rocket City (discontinued, thank goodness), etc. Can you say sparkle overload?
3. Vast amounts of lip gloss in all the colours of the rainbow. Purple...orange...why?
4. Infusium 23 Leave-in Conditioner
5. Anything Clean and Clear
From shower to "out the door," how long I take to get ready on an average day:
An hour! (30 minutes without the shower)
Beauty trend I'd really, really like to learn or try:
Beautiful, curly, in-your-face lashes. Mines kind of deflate...
What makeup thingy is always in my purse:
Lip balm or gloss and some blotting paper, as well as a tiny bottle of Johnson's baby lotion for dry patches and a little bottle of SPF.
Ah, memories... My biggest junior high beauty mistake:
Piling on the eyeliner like it was no tomorrow, and bright lip gloss.
Most cringe-worthy beauty treatment I've ever endured:
A manicure when I went on a Carnival cruise when I was ten...Ow, my bleeding cuticles.
The most $$ I've ever shelled out for a beauty product:
$28 dollars for BareMinerals RareMinerals Blemish Therapy stuff. Yeah, I'm cheap.
About Me:
Hello everyone, my name is Nicole and I adore the hell out of cosmetics, movies, anime, Japanese rock, books, video games, and sleeping. My skin is oily with an occasional pimple (ah adolescence...), and my hair is normal, straight, and elbow-length. I'm fair and I avoid the sun like the plague, and the skin on my body is dry year round thanks to lingering eczema from childhood.
