My brand obsessions:
Everything Clinique, Victorias Secret fragrances, cosmetics, & haircare line, Ojon haircare, Conair Infiniti, HairDo hair extensions from Ken Paves, Philosophy fragrances & bath items, St. Ives Facial Apricot Scrub, Clarins skin care, L'oreal (all good), Bare Escentuals & Philosophy mineral foundation, Smashbox lip gloss, Almay 3 in 1 waterproof mascara (my lashes look fake) Revlon Colorstay eyeliner, Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream for hair, BioSilk Silk Therapy, Dr Denese skin care
I'd bawl my eyes out if this product was discontinued:
Not a fair question....I have to many staples in my beauty regimen to pick a favorite!
Save your money! Here are 5 products I bought and regretted:
Lip Venom- sticky, tacky, to much "sting" and works best without lip color ( who doesn't want to wear lip color?)
Benefit Bad Gal mascara- no different than any other, I like some drugstore brands better
Tarte gel blush in a stick- wet, watery, dries fast so it blends crappy, cakes together with foundation
Philosophy Purity facial cleanser- didnt remove all my make up like stated, smells funny
Prescriptives False Eyelashes mascara- yeah right! for $20 a tube it stunk!
From shower to "out the door," how long I take to get ready on an average day:
1 1/2 to 2 hours
Beauty trend I'd really, really like to learn or try:
Ive tried and done them all! I come from a long line of vain women( brushed off on me a little) and cosmetologists, Id be suprised to find something I DIDN'T do!
What makeup thingy is always in my purse:
Lip gloss, lipliner, compact, eyeliner, mascara, nail clipper, chapstick
Ah, memories... My biggest junior high beauty mistake:
Teasing my hair but having pin straight way to long bangs in my eyes, dying it black than hating it and having to destroy it through bleaching, trying to use an at home straightening kit on my caucasian hair and burnt it & needed hair extensions, lined my lower lid and not my top with eyeliner ( hate that look) didnt use lip liner, poor color choices in cosmetics and over processing my hair.
Most cringe-worthy beauty treatment I've ever endured:
I hated body wraps, it feels disgusting to have these soaking wet ace bandages wrapped around you that are luke warm, extremely tight, you get all wrapped up in plastic over the ace bandages like clear garbage bags, water supposedly filled with toxins fill up these plastic booties on your feet, so your standing there in water deep enough to cover your foot in a sandwhich bag like shoe that is supposedly toxins!!! just a gross feeling, too expensive and not worth it, diet and exercise work better! I would never do it again.
The most $$ I've ever shelled out for a beauty product:
$60 for a face cream
