My brand obsessions:
The Body Shop
I'd bawl my eyes out if this product was discontinued:
Camomile Eye Makeup Remover, takes off the makeup without irritating my eyes. Just apply to a cotton round, press on your closed lid for a few seconds, and gently wipe. Works great.
Save your money! Here are 5 products I bought and regretted:
Proactiv - just didn't work, left my skin dry in some areas and more blemished in others.
Mary Kay SPF daily moisturizer - I've never had a reaction to a product, so I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin- but this moisturizer actually made my face burn. I wasn't too keen on the super sunscreen smell either.
From shower to "out the door," how long I take to get ready on an average day:
45 minutes - I take a long shower, play with all my Body Shop products, and walk out the door feeling like a million bucks.
Beauty trend I'd really, really like to learn or try:
Pin-up style makeup, so glam - so retro - so cool!
What makeup thingy is always in my purse:
The Body Shop "Stop the Violence" Lip Gloss
Ah, memories... My biggest junior high beauty mistake:
Not washing my face at night!
Most cringe-worthy beauty treatment I've ever endured:
I thought I'd try out a local beauty school for a manicure. The manicure itself was fine, but the paint was horrible! Those poor girls just kept painting on layers of polish, trying to make it look better... I politely wished them luck with their careers and scraped off the goop on my nails as soon as I got to the car!
The most $$ I've ever shelled out for a beauty product:
$34 for The Body Shop's Body Focus Stretch Mark Improver - but it was worth it! Visible results after two kids!
