For those who want to get Dakota Fanning's dark vampire gaze straight out of New Moon, makeup artist Lauren Luke recently released a YouTube video to instructing viewers how to make that happen.

Luke says to apply a base eye shadow of silver on top of your entire lid. Be sure not to go out too far from the crease, and round out the edge for a smooth finish.

Next, take a darker silver powder eye shadow and use a makeup brush to apply it heavier on the outside of your lid. Go a little further than you did with the basecoat, and work the shadow into the lid crease. Metallic shadows look the best.

Add a lighter shade towards the middle and inside of your eyelid to make your eyes pop, then begin to go over your top lid with heavy black eyeliner. Go under your top lashes by pulling your lid up with your index finger, then make a thick line above the lashes. On your bottom lashes, be sure to go heavier than you would normally.

Finally, use a bit of mascara as the heavy liner tends to make lashes disappear. Don't go too heavy on the application, but just enough to make sure your lashes are visible.ADNFCR-2773-ID-19492242-ADNFCR
