Evan Rachel Wood Speaks About Her New Gucci Fragrance and Her Beauty Must-Haves

As the newly named face of Gucci Guilty, Evan Rachel Wood knows a thing or two about fragrance and beauty. The “True Blood” star recently gave an interview to PEOPLE where she dished on her beauty must-haves and why she partnered with the Gucci Guilty fragrance.

“I have fun playing with makeup,” she tells PEOPLE. The actress shared many of her favorite beauty tips, including the secret to keeping her skin just the right shade of porcelain for her vampire character, Queen Sofia, on the HBO hit, “True Blood.” “I am SPF crazy. I have sunscreen in the door of my car. I have sunscreen in my purse,” the redhead stated.

Wood is also a self-proclaimed Sephora fan and likes to push the beauty boundaries “to see how far I can go,” the actress said. Wood is a fan of Stila’s Smudge Pots, so she can experiment with an ultra-smoky eye and, as you see in the Gucci Guilty ad, Wood is alsoa fan of tattoos- including a secret tatt on the inside of her lip!

The actress’s “very artistic family” is how she credits the growth of her daring fashion and beauty style. Her family encouraged her to be different and she’s not afraid to be who she is. “I try and surround myself with people who just aren’t afraid to be who they are and aren’t going to judge me for doing anything I’m doing.” With Wood’s first fragrance campaign, she’s allowed to do just that. “I love [the] idea of the Gucci woman being this take no prisoners, full throttle, is going to do what she wants to do [woman],” she says. “I think you can be just as tough in a pair of heels if you’re in control of it.” Wood is barely recognizable in the ad campaign for the fragrance as she gets hot and heavy with actor Chris Evans while wearing nothing but a Gucci charm bracelet and rose-pink lipstick. Hmm, we wonder what her fiancé, rocker Marilyn Manson, thinks about the ad?
