The old saying suggests that blondes really do have more fun, and Emma Roberts is looking to put the idea to the test.
Emma Roberts
People.com is reporting that the young starlet recently showed up to a book launch with her once brunette locks looking a little lighter. While the change is for a movie role, it was also welcomed by the actress, who was looking to "change it up."
The actress explained that while her character may be an unstable girl with a cut up face in the upcoming It's Kind of a Funny Story, so why not at least give her some nice hair?
Roberts, who is pictured here in her darker days, also looks forward to debuting her hair elsewhere and testing out the cliché statement.
"I leave for New York in a few days and I think, what better than to show off my new hair than in New York to see if, you know, blondes do have more fun," Roberts explained to People.
Women can get this look without the cost of a celebrity hairstylist by using at home hair-dye products that don't take up too much time.
