The Product:
CoverGirl LineExact Liquid Liner The Price: $6
The Promise: "Compact, easy-to-hold, high-precision liquid eyeliner pen has a smudge-proof, fast-drying formula that glides on to create fine or bold lines without fuss, for looks that last all day."
The Real Deal: OK, I'll admit it (as I have before), I'm a spaz. And, in addition to not being able to shoot pool or wield knitting needles very well, I'm hard-pressed to apply makeup in a grown-up manner. Because of that, well, challenge, I'm always on the lookout for "spaz proof" products. When it comes to liquid liner, THIS IS IT. Not only does the "pen" actually draw nice, fluid lines, its tip dispenses
just the right amount of liner so even unsure-handed people like me don't end up with big, gloppy, streaks. (Hooray!)
The Upshot: The fact that this liner, while easy to apply is
also fast-drying (by the time I apply my first coat of mascara, the liner isn't even tacky to the touch) and difficult to smudge helps to seal the deal for me. What more can a (spazzy) girl ask for than an easy-to-apply, fast-to-dry, smudge-resistant,
inexpensive eyeliner that comes in the perfect smoky gray shade, ask for? (OK,
besides world peace and George Clooney.)

I actually like the size, it's perfect for holding. I haven't tried this yet. I just recently started using the Tarte multiplEYE liquid eyeliners in carbon black with peptides. It has the same tip as the CoverGirl product but has lash enhancing serum in it as well! With the price of lash enhancing serums, I love having it included in my eyeliner.

It's worth a try. $6 isn't that much compared to what i've spent on liquid liner in the past. If I don't like it I can always toss it out.

I like to use gel/cream eyeliners, like Tarte's Amazonian Clay liner, or MAC Fluidlines, or Stila Smudgepots, or Physicians Formula Creamliners. Pencil is my next option--I prefer Urban Decay 24/7 pencils. I might have to give this CoverGirl liner a try though... I want to try a dramatic pinup/cateye look.

wow. i honestly did not expect to see a good review for this. i am a total spaz and i know exactly what you mean! i may try this. i only wonder if it creases without a base. my stila smudge pot does not crease without a base.
