Korea's Top Cleansing Oil
If you're even remotely as obsessed with Korean beauty habits as I am, then you'll be excited to learn more about the best-selling cleansing oil in Korea right now. However, you might be surprised to hear that it's not made by a small Korean company. It's Neutrogena.

The Neutrogena Ultra-Light Cleansing Oil, $8.99, has been available in Asia for some time, and it's ascended to the top spot for good reason: It's awesome. The formula is extremely light and almost water-like, yet it breaks down makeup and thoroughly cleans skin. After you rinse, your skin feels soft, slightly hydrated and ready for the next 11 steps in your Korea-inspired skin care regimen.

Soap for OINTB Fans
Lately, I've been binge watching the third season of "Orange is the New Black." Mostly, I love that the show is packed with beauty references. (Don't believe me? Check out some of our favorite prison beauty tricks here.)

If you think back to the first season, you might remember Popi soaps, which Piper was making with her best friend Polly before being hauled off to jail. Now, you can buy them for yourself. They're made by Chivas, a goat milk soap company, and licensed by Lionsgate, the production company behind OITNB. POPI Artisan Soap in Grapefruit and Basil, $12, is my favorite flavor -- it's fresh and zingy like a fancy cocktail. Plus, you don't need to go to the commissary to get it -- you can order it from Popisoap.com.

Mushroom-Packed Moisture Mask
I could eat mushrooms at every meal, and I'm equally enthusiastic about them as an ingredient in skin care. The latest mushroom to make its way into moisturizer is the snow mushroom, which the folks from Olay are harvesting in China and using in their new Active Botanicals line. (It's hitting Target stores mid-July.) The white, gelatinous (and, frankly, not so tasty-looking) snow mushroom holds 500 times its weight in water and helps your skin hold onto hydration, too.

My favorite product from the line is the Olay Active Botanicals Overnight Moisture Mask, $14.99. It has a gel-like quality, similar to the mushroom it contains. Simply pat some on top of the rest of your skin care before bed. It locks in moisture all night long so you wake up looking dewy and fresh. I may not want to fill my plate the snow mushroom, but I'm happy about what it does for my face.

Candles for the Design Buff
In my next life, I'd like to come back as interior designer John Robshaw. He spends his time travelling around India -- I imagine him perpetually dressed in a kaftan and silk slippers -- dreaming up the most gorgeous prints and fabrics for his bedding collections.

While a John Robshaw quilt has been on my wish list -- but out of my price range -- for years, I'm now the proud owner of a John Robshaw for Tocca Candle, $60. The candles are poured into gorgeous ceramic canisters printed with Robshaw originals, and the scents were inspired by his travels. I chose Java, which Robshaw says is reminiscent of a market in Yogyakarta where locals smoke clove cigarettes and sell coffee beans alongside their batik-printed sarongs. It's sweet and nutty -- even better than coffee -- and makes my home feel a touch more exotic.

Souped-Up Sunscreen
2015 has been the year of high-tech sunscreens. So many cutting-edge formulas have launched, I could test a new one each week and still be slathering in December.

My favorite new SPF to date is SkinMedica Total Defense and Repair Broad Spectrum SPF 34, $65. Here's why: It contains a combination of chemical and physical blockers (so UV rays break down and bounce off, respectively), the texture is light and silky (it feels more like a high-end face lotion than traditional sunscreen) and it's packed with antioxidants. The antioxidant blend is so special, in fact, it's been shown to protect skin from infrared rays. (Infrared is heat energy, and its recently been linked to aging.) Skinmedica is calling it a superscreen, and I'd have to agree.

If I could only write about one category of beauty product for the rest of my career, it would be skin care. Which is why I'm so excited about the new products launching in July: There's a lot of skin care. From the best-selling cleansing oil in Korea (you'll be shocked to learn the brand) to a cooling, moisturizing cucumber mist you can pick up at Target to an overnight moisture mask made with snow mushroom, there are some fascinating skin care buys this month. You'll also find the prettiest new line of lip gloss, a gorgeous candle and so much more. Ready to shop? I certainly am.
