There's No Love Lost Between Barbie And Ken

Plus J. Crew's sweet swimsuit situation, sad sex ed news and more of the top stories of the day
• Human Ken Doll Justin Jedlica, who's spent thousands to shape himself into a real-living Ken doll, is no fan of Valeria Lukyanova, the woman who bills herself as a Human Barbie. Both have formed themselves into dolls via cosmetic surgery, so you'd think they'd have a lot in common. But true love is not in the cards for these plastic people, it seems. "I don't get why people think she's so interesting. She has extensions," he said. "She wears stage makeup. She's an illusionist." Ooh, burn. [GQ]

• Jenni Avins, a J. Crew customer, wanted the company to bring back their classic scoop-back tank swimsuit, so she wrote in to Jenna Lyons. Amazingly, Lyons wrote back -- with an ad announcing J. Crew would be relaunching the suit. "Dear Ms. Avins," wrote Lyons, "your wish is my command ... within reason. XO Jenna." [New York Mag]

• Christina Hendricks definitely has a powerful effect on men. This is a big "no duh." On Conan O'Brien, she relayed one particularly funny incident. "It was summer, and I'd just gone out and bought this little wispy white summer dress, and I was going to meet my friends. ... This guy was riding a bike by and he started staring at me. [My friend] was watching from a distance, and he said the whole thing went in slow-mo. The guy hit the curb and flew off his bike. But this was one incident." We imagine this happens practically on the daily when you're Christina Hendricks. [The Gloss]

• Your depressing fact of the day: Most teens don't have sex ed before they start having sex. A report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that around 80 percent of teens aged 15 to 17 don't have any formal sexual education before their first sexual experience. [Daily Beast]

• Bar Rafaeli loves her some Caviar and Carat Facial. It runs $185 at LaBelle Day Spas & Salons in California and looks ... messy. [Us Weekly]
