The Broadway musical "Kinky Boots" is up for 13 Tony Awards, and given that Cyndi Lauper wrote the score, I'm not surprised. The story is based on a 2005 British film by the same name, which follows a shoe factory owner who decides to make boots for -- you guessed it -- drag queens. read more

Selena Gomez is catching heat from the Hindu group Universal Society of Hinduism yet again after the 20-year-old pop star wore a blingy bindi at her Billboard Music Awards performance Sunday. Gomez was chastised by the group last month for her "insensitive" bindi accessory on her Bollywood inspired "Come and Get It" performance at the MTV Movie Awards. read more
