According to the American Cancer Society, about 1.3 million women will be diagnosed with breast cancer annually worldwide and about 465,000 will die from the disease, so whether we like it or not, we're still forced to think pink throughout October. From Snuggies to hair straightners, everyone and their mother jumps on the pink bandwagon to create beauty products and beyond that, donate a part of their proceeds to breast cancer research and other organizations that support women dealing with breast cancer. Now don't get us wrong, we're all for it and we've even been doing a pink beauty products blog series -- a roundup of some of the best products we think you should snag that support the cause. But, we're also curious what you're doing beyond buying BCA beauty products. So we put out our Facebook-feelers to see how friends, real women, companies and celebrities alike are helping to save the ta-tas this year. From literally racing for the cure to dying your hair pink, you're proud to share what you're doing -- and we're impressed. Read now

How can beauty products change your life? Well, that's a very astute question, and we're so glad you asked. Perhaps a lipstick or a face cream can't alter the fate of the universe or lead you down some divine path to righteousness, but most women agree that a-ha moments (as Oprah calls them) do occur with certain products. Those instances where you realize life would be a little harder if your favorite scrub/concealer/eye cream didn't exist. See products

It's a weeknight at 2am and you can't sleep. You turn on the TV and see commercials for random beauty products that do everything from "remove calluses" to "automatically tweeze your 'stache." They always claim to be miracles, and they never cease to amuse. See products

Dove's unprecedented Campaign for Real Beauty celebrates bodies of all shapes, sizes, colors, and ages. It employs plus-sized models, women of different races and those with wrinkles and sun spots, to inspire us real women to feel more comfortable in our own skin -- so to speak. Dove continually creates memorable, groundbreaking (and at times controversial) ads and commercials; they make pro-age beauty products instead of anti-aging ones; and now with their "Movement for Self-Esteem", they're trying to reach a younger generation by helping instill confidence in adolescent girls. However, 13 to 93-year-old women can resonate with this poignant slogan for the movement: "Imagine a world where beauty is a source of confidence, not anxiety." See products

Recently we posed this question in a blog post: What Three Wishes Would You Ask Your Natural Beauty Genie For? (Well, If One Actually Existed.) We got an overwhelming amount of responses from you. There were surprisingly lots of feet-related wishes (go figure), but unsurprisingly a ton of perfect-skin requests. As we scrolled through the comments, we were nodding and agreeing right along with you. Some actually even made us tear up (OK, we may have been PMSing, but nonetheless), like this one: See wishes granted

With all the devastating natural disasters, oil spills, terrorist attacks, financial meltdowns and wars happening globally, it seems a bit hyperbolic to call something as trite as a chipped nail or a scissor-happy bang trim a disaster, right? Nonetheless, everything's relative and we don't want you to never be the victim of any type of beauty disaster (or whatever you want to call it). Get tips
