No. 10: We can use his cologne and it's considered sexy, it so doesn't work the other way around.
It's official: chocolate is no longer considered a junk food.
Well, dark chocolate at least.
With summer in full swing and another hot forecast for the weekend, my coworker and I are planning on camping around the pool like wild animals do when they find a watering hole. But that doesn't mean we want to look the part, which is why we spent the last two weeks trying every new "waterproof" makeup product out there. Because after all, who wants to find themselves in the pool surrounded by a cloud of beige/black makeup? We boiled our search down to these summer makeup must-haves so you don't have to do the sleuthing yourselves. Want to see them? Here are our top six:
Tickle Spa: Hot New Treatment or Ultimate Torture Device?
- Posted by Sarah on July 20, 2011 at 11:25AM
Full disclosure: I'm extremely ticklish and I hate being tickled. So when I read about the world's first tickle spa opening in Spain, I thought it was a joke. People would actually pay to be tortured -- I mean, tickled? For real?
Sleep is one of the most essential -- yet most overlooked -- basic human needs. According to the National Sleep Foundation, 63 percent of Americans get less than the recommended eight hours of sleep at night.
Trends are always changing, but your income isnt, right? I feel ya. So while I want to run out to buy the new Limited Edition Dolce & Gabbana "The Animalier" Glow Bronzing Powder for 50 bucks (pictured below *swoon*), I can't. So I get my cheap, playful, trendy makeup thrills at the drugstore.
I'm almost certain that everyone knows a fearless lady -- or gentleman -- whose makeup only gets more fabulous with age. Well past the age of insecurities, these eccentric types aren't afraid to experiment with color and will mostly likely continue to do so 'till the day they die. Yep. You read that right.

Thanks to the wavy hair trend that is all the rage this summer, there are more expert tips on how to create this carefree look than ever before. In true beauty-obsessed fashion, I made sure I had all the products necessary to create this look a month before summer started (volumizing mousse, salt spray, finishing crème, check!). After all, I wanted to practice in private so I could prevent any not-so-hot hair moments popping up on my Facebook page.
I've tried so many techniques for achieving this tousled look -- all touted to be fail-proof -- but frankly became tired of all the steps and products needed. After all, summer is all about low-maintenance beauty, right? Enter my new favorite wavy hair tool: A multiple-barrel curling iron.
You know the rules: exercise daily, drink more water and eat a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in order to lose weight and have amazing skin. This is easy to remember, not always so easy to follow. But what if we told you that all you have to do is add these two foods to your diet every day to see big, beauty-boosting results? Would it help if we mentioned that Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr swears by them? Read on.
I am not a clean freak, but I can get super intense over certain bad bathroom behaviors. In the kitchen, I seem to be laid back -- I'll do the occasional double dip, drink out of the carton, prescribe to the ten-second rule, etc. But when it comes to the bathroom, my switch flips.
