We know you are fighting every urge to stifle the rumbling of your inner Homer Simpson on National Donut Day, especially with free donuts being given out left and right, but we are here to tell you to go ahead and eat that donut ... but only today. Any other time you are feeling the need to shove a donut in your face, remember that sugar is a number one stunner for that skin of yours. The refined carbohydrate not only causes breakouts, but also causes inflammation of the skin which in turn creates high levels of free radicals, which attack collagen, giving you less firm skin and wrinkles. So whats a sugar lover to do? Find alternatives of course!
Reese Witherspoon and Renée Zellweger have found refuge in new vitamin-enhanced cookies, baked in Los Angeles at DeLuscious Cookies & Milk bakery. These yummy treats are baked with a blend of anti-aging vitamins and minerals that have been known to give you younger looking skin! Smart gals!
In case you just have to give into your sugar addiction more than youd like, you can still follow other important steps to keep your skin looking fab. And if all else fails
fake it 'till you make it!
