From AHA to BHA: Some of the Best Acid Body Washes Right Now
Ever since a bad experience with the Proactiv system in high school (it was too drying for my skin), I've been mixing and matching skincare products from different brands. It's turned into an always evolving regimen that varies depending on how my skin is behaving at any certain time. It also means I have far too many products cluttering my medicine cabinet.
But recently I've decided to try a Dermalogica regimen set up by one of their skin therapists. I'm optimistic that it will work since she thoroughly inspected my skin before recommending products but I'm also a bit skeptical since it doesn't appear that the products were specially designed for me (most seem to be suited for all skin types). I'll keep you posted on whether I notice a dramatic difference, but I was wondering what your take on this was. Do you use a skincare "system" from one brand or do you mix and match? I'd love to know!
I am a mix and match kind of girl. I know beauty lines want you to use all of their products from the same line, but I love to play the field.
