ColourPop Cosmetics Blow Me Away Pressed Powder Palette, $18 I'm a sucker for coral hues. Case in point: There are no fewer than six orange lipsticks sitting on my desk right now. So when this quad crossed my path a few weeks ago, I was immediately smitten. (The adorable packaging didn't hurt, either.)
The versatile, peachy pigments, which work as blush, highlighter and shadow, are the perfect mix for creating a minimal, fresh-faced look. For mornings when I'm in a rush or getting ready at the gym, this, plus a mascara and lipstick, are all I need.
As we've come to expect from ColourPop, the colors — from peach gold to red-hot coral — are extremely pigmented and long-lasting. The slightest touch with my brush is enough to brighten both cheeks.
While not a true drugstore makeup brand — you can't drop into your local pharmacy and pick up the palette — it does come at an extremely reasonable drugstore price. — Jill Provost
