Maybelline Falsies Big Eyes Mascara, $6.99 Maybelline Falsies is, hands down, one of the best mascaras I've ever used. When I heard they were launching a new Falsies, I was skeptical. (Don't mess with perfection, right?) But then I tried it. Falsies still has the thickening, lengthening, lash-tinting business on one end, but the new release has a mini brush for bottom lashes. I've never been a bottom lash mascara girl, but this one completely converted me.

July is the month of extremes in beauty reality. On the one hand, we're inundated with images of perfectly tanned, toned, flawless women cavorting on beaches.
