thank you so much for the great advice. i should go naturally curly, but I got accustomed to using the straight iron. Haven't found a good product for naturally wavy hair yet to go natural without looking like i just got out of bed. I do agree that my hair is moderately damaged, though.

"Only shampoo when necessary" Does this mean water with no shampoo, or no washing at all. Also, defining "necessary" might be helpful.

moderatly damaged.....oops. LOL. i guess it's right cuz i relaxed my hai and use heat once every week. i may need to start deep conditioning tho....i may try that :)
