Think about your diet
Not only can a junk food-filled diet keep that corset-back dress from lacing up tight, but it can also negatively affect your energy levels and even your mood. So whether or not you're trying to shed pounds, make the effort to eat healthy in the months leading up to the wedding. Some easy tips:• Swap soft drinks for unsweetened green tea. It'll give you a caffeine boost without extra calories or sugar, plus it has plenty of good-for-you antioxidants.
• Drink lots of water. Often when we feel hungry, we're actually dehydrated, so drinking plenty of water can help curb those cravings.
• Start your meals with a salad or soup. Studies show that eating a healthy salad or broth (not cream) based soup can help you feel full, so you'll be less tempted to go for the bacon, burger, and fries.
• Give in to your cravings. If you're hankering for chocolate, don't deprive yourself -- it'll only lead to a massive pig out later. Instead give yourself a small serving of dark chocolate, it has less sugar than milk chocolate and more antioxidants.
If you are trying to lose weight before your wedding, set up a visit with a nutritionist so they can help you create a healthy eating plan, or consider joining a program like Weight Watchers for added help and support.
