Tip 1: Expose your lips

While some men like a rouged lip, most replied back with a resounding "NO!" when asked if they preferred a mouth coated in lipstick. One woman said, "my boyfriend LOVES it when I wear a subtle lip gloss that shows off the texture of my natural lips. He hates to kiss me when I'm rockin' the red." One guy said, "For some reason, the smell of lipstick has, and always will, remind me of my grandma. I'm sorry, but no one deserves that imagery."

When it comes to your sexiest pout, the majority of men prefer a more natural look. They (for the most part) don't care what's being worn on the runways, but do care about what's most kissable. So what makes lips kissable? "Soft, moisturized and ready for a good time," says one guy.

Does anyone else think it's kind of funny that this article says guys like a girl in a baseball hat, and the "looks men hate" article says they don't? I'm pretty sure it's the same photo on both articles, too. ;) (Just goes to show that no advice is truly universal...)

LittleBunny, I totally agree. But sometimes feeling good about your outer appearance does help with the confidence factor. But if you're using your outer appearance to compensate for deep confidence issues, then yeah, that's not going to work.

I don't think this article was meant to insult anyone or insist that all women follow these tips (I notice that some commenters are taking it a bit personally) I think the problem with "What men like" articles is that they never apply to the majority of men as a whole. Men don't even know what they like! Every guy I've dated & my male friends have different preferences on what they consider "sexy", alot of them say they hate make up and "high maintenance" girls, but their eyes pop out of their head when I get all dressed up- with said makeup-or they see someone glamed up in a magazine. So if you want to know what a man likes? Ask HIM. I've never known a man to complain about me getting made up.

This article was lame. I don't live my life to impress men. Or women. I do it for me. Also, I love false eyelashes. On occasion, they can really play up your eyes for a dramatic look. My husband hasn't complained once. PS - regular bikini waxes?? Um, no thanks. A trim is good enough. The baseball hat idea is lame. For something titled "Beauty Tips That Will Make Him Melt"... I do not think that a hat would be appropriate. A lot of guys don't like the smokey eye either, especially the look of the girl in the picture used for that tip, because if it is done too heavy, it comes out looking like raccoon eyes.

Good article, but the problem is what mlenaei mentioned: we don't just dress in a certain way or do our makeup a certain way just for guys. We do it because of what other women will think of us, and how we compare to what's in the magazines. And ironically, sometimes what other women think we should look like and what guys like us to look like are totally different!

I always go for tip 8 when I go out with my husband. I use the mark. Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes and dust it lightly on my temples or cheekbones, my collarbone, the hollow in my neck, or the tops of my shoulders. It creates a nice subtle glow especially in most restuarants or bars where the light is lower.
