The scoop on posture

"Stand up straight," implores celebrity stylist Beau Quillian who has styled the likes of Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and Jessicas Biel, Alba and Simpson. He says that when it comes to posing, posture reigns supreme.

"Good posture can take off five pounds," he advises, adding that it's equally important not to stand with your hands at your sides. �Put your hands on your hips, clasp them behind you, put your thumbs in your back pockets -- whatever it is that you need to do to keep them from just hanging there making your body look shapeless."

I think it's great to want to look your best, but I feel like we overthink photos these days. When you're having a good time, it'll show in a picture. But anytime anyone pulls out camera, people get overly concerned about how terrible they think they look and then worry about it being posted on facebook. It's too bad.

I've read many times of 'tips' to make your face and your figure look slimmer in photos, but since I never practice, most of the times I just ended up looking like some kind of grinning freak XP I'm gonna start practicing in the mirror more often XP

good! I personally feel like I look great if I angle my face. Somehow straight looking pictures doesn't do good on my personality. Also I feel like I'm looking different in each photo even if it is taken at the same place with same dress and makeup.

I loove taking pics with my best friend. When we get together it's like the paparazzi is around..lol I have pretty much perfected my picture smile/pose. I have to be honest that I did practice in the mirror to find out which ways worked best! Good to know I'm not a weirdo for doing that..I have also perfected Smeyes (smiling with your eyes as Tyra says on Top Model). It was tricky to do for a little while but then I figured it out and love doing it in pictures. Try to do that one girls!!! Your eyes are the gateway to your soul and people can tell a lot about you by looking into your eyes. Let them see that you are a gorgeous, flirty, happy-go-lucky woman (even if you're not..lol)

i find that blowing it dry right after I'm out the shower goes the fastest and prepares it the best for the flat iron. i have long thick hair.

Nothing makes my hair look better than having it blow dried in a salon, but I do find blow drying to be a little bit too expensive at times. That's why every women needs to learn how to blow dry her own hair. First, it saves money. Not everyone has two or three hundred dollars to spend on great looking hair. Finally, it may take a little more work to blow dry your hair at home, but I think beautful hair is always worth the wait.
