No. 14: Dr. Brandt V-Zone Neck Cream, $60
TotalBeauty.com average member rating: 5.6*Why: Readers say this product is "too much $$$ and does nothing." One woman says, "I tried this cream on "Allure"'s recommendation but it basically did nothing but lessen my pocketbook -- don't bother." Another says, "I was hoping this cream would tighten the skin on my neck (which is a bit loose due to weight loss), but after using an entire jar I haven't even seen temporary results." One woman says, "one day I woke up to notice that I have 'rings' around my neck. I feel like a friggin' Sequoia tree. Anyway, in a desperate attempt to correct some of this and to fight against future wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity, I shelled out $60 for this cream. Yes, it is very emollient and makes my skin very soft, but ALL of my creams do that. As far as helping reduce visible signs of lines and firm your skin ... NADA."
