Pantene Texturize! Ultimate Texture Hairspray Ultra Hold, Aerosol, $4.59

TotalBeauty.com average user rating:* 2.0

Grand offense: Too stiff. "This is hairspray for people who want helmet head. For me it was like spraying cement on my hair, and you can't do a touch up, brush and run without pulling half of your hair out." -- gramajan

I don't usually bother with hair spray but it's good to know which products to avoid!

I hope my Dove extra hold non-aerosol hairspray is better than aerosol. :( It has better ratings here, but I don't use enough for me to notice a huge difference throughout the day.

Elnett is the best and has a great price tag. Aussie is also another good spray.

Hair spray is bad for the environment and your hair. Unless you work at a salon, just use mousse or hair gel.

I think Fekkai hairspray is better than any of these.
