Celebrity Hairstyle and Makeup How-Tos
Need a prom hairstyle or a look for your high school reunion? You came to the right place
These towns have the worst conditions for hair. Is it time for you to call the movers?
Here is another "Sunshine Factory" city. If you haven’t noticed already, too much sun is a no-no for your hair. Don’t believe us? Stop by the University of Arizona for some basic math classes: sun damage + hard water = dry, brittle locks.
If you're an African American woman and there are not a lot of salons that cater to your hair needs then I suggest reading this article. Help me out a lot http://www.ehow.com/how_5979720_straighten_press-coarse-hair.html

Phoenix is not a bad hair city! I live there and my hair looks the best when I'm home. There's no humidity so it doesn't get frizzy and contrary to what they say, it doesn't get dried out. Someone needs to do their research. Where are Honolulu and Miami? Humidity is your hair's worst enemy!

wow, of course my home of pittsburgh PA made it on here. i will admit that my hair can get pretty frizzy and i have to do a lot to it, but its not polluted here. that was a long long long time ago wehn we had all of the steel mills here, but most of them are gone. there's just about as much pollution here as there is anywhere else.

I'm surprised VA and KS are not in this study, as it is pretty humid in these states and I have naturally curly hair. A mess w/frizz.

Eugene is not humid! It rains a lot, but is in no way humid. It gets super hot and dry in the summer, and very rainy and cold basically from october through may. In fact, whenever I travel I'm shocked by how muggy it is in every other state but Oregon! The only thing that ruins your hair is the rain and wind.

Whoever researched that Cincinnati only have eight hairstylists listed in the yellow pages does not do enough research. This is a large city. We are not in the back hills. Give me a break. Do you realize what year this is? I go to the hair salon every week, because I love the salon products and clean hair. I would not trust this information from a researchers who made that statement: only eight hairstylists listed on yellowpages.com. You are lazy!

That's a lie. Cincinnati have a million hair stylists. I believe the water maybe the problem (chemicals and being hard water). But stylists is a joke. Come to Cincinnati it is a hair salon on every corner

You forgot San Francisco- Where the fog rolls in *every night* over the Golden Gate Bridge. The days are barely warm and it rains for MONTHS at a time.

You forgot New York! It gets extremely humid and when I visited, I had to dump conditioner on my hair 3x a day to keep it from frizzing; haven't you seen "Sex in the City?" Sarah Jessica Parker's hair was all over the place!!

How idiotic. You've obviously never been to Pensacola. I'm so glad to see the writers in America rely on cliche and passe statements in their so call "articals"... Peon.
